The next morning I woke up with the most beautiful women in my arms. I felt whole again. I still couldn't believe that we were finally back together after all of this time. It felt so good to be there with her. She (still does) takes my breath away. I looked over at the clock, HOLY SHIT IT WAS 10am. Shit! we were both late, and we never discussed wether or not we were going to tell the guys we were back together. Not a great way to start of the morning. I knew I had to wake up Stevie, being that she 1. is NOT, nor will she ever be, a morning person and 2. we were late and she was gonna flip out. She looked so peaceful and I really didn't want to disturb her because she looked like an angel. My Angel. So beautiful and tiny laying in the big bed. I gently began to stroke her arm and run my fingers through her beautiful golden locks. "Stephanie.." I whispered. "Steph... babe....it's time to get up..." I said still softly, trying to wake her up as nicley as possible. She began to stir but wouldn't open her eyes. Damn this woman. So stubborn about getting up. I suddenly remembered how I use to wake her up back when we lived together in our twenties. I moved her hair away from her neck and began to kiss her all over. She stirred again and I continued to kiss her neck, moving up to her chin and cheeks. She started to smile and I knew she was up but wouldn't open her eyes. I kissed her lips softly and said "Steph baby I know you don't want to get up, but we really have to." I kissed her still closed eyes and she finally replied to me, "Goodmorning Lindsey." She said with a smile and a kiss to go with it. I smiled back at her and kissed her again, so happy to have her with me. "What time is it honey?" She asked me. "Your not gonna like this answer, but it's 10am and we are late." "OH MY GOD LINDSEY THEY ARE GONNA KILL US OH NO." Stevie jumped out of bed, rushed to put on her clothes and tried to run out the door, but I was quicker and jumped in front of her. "Lindsey please move I have to get dressed honey!" She yelled. I leaned down and kissed her one more time. "Now you may go miss nicks. Know I love you and will see you soon and I will take care of the guys." "Oh Linds why are you so good to me?!" She asked smiling. She reached up to put her tiny arms around my neck and kissed me before she ran out the door to go get ready for the day. God how I love this woman.

I rushed to get ready, pulling on jeans and a tee shirt. I quickly brushed my teeth and ran a comb through my curly hair. I ran down the stairs and went right into the recording room. "Oh look who decided to show up! So nice to see you Mr. Buckingham! Long night?" Mick said, laughing at his own joke. "HaHaHa Mick very funny. And no, it was not a long night, I just overslept. I was really tired." I didn't lie technically. I didn't know where Stevie and I were so instead of jumping to conclusions, I decided to play it safe. "Oh okay. I guess Stevie didn't keep you up?" Mick asked. I was beginning to panic and so I quickly said, "Are we gonna play, or talk about Stevie?" "Yea sure, But speaking of Stevie, where is little miss Stephanie?" Mick asked snidely, making me grow angry. No one could call her Stephanie BUT ME. "How should I know?" "I don't know, I just thought to ask. Maybe you ran into her upstairs?" "Nope, didn't run into her." I said, trying to desperately change the subject. After a half hour, Stevie came strolling in, casually as if she was right on time. She looked beautiful, as always. She took a seat next to me on the couch and smiled. I smiled back, trying not to make it known how happy I was to see her. "Now that the gang is all here, let's get to work. Bad enough Stevie showed up an hour late, and Lindsey 10 minuets late as well." Mick said, Turing his back to the rest of us. John got up to go get something to drink, and Mick was fiddiling with something on the sound board. Stevie laced her tiny hand in mine, and smiled up at me. She leaned in and whispered into my ear "Thank you baby. I promise we will talk later about all of this." And with that, she got up and went over to the sound board to get started for the day. She didn't have to explain what she ment, because I knew. Seems like I was finally starting to do the right thing. I had a good feeling about our relationship this time. I knew that if I put out 'positive energy' or whatever Stevie called it, out into the universe, I knew it would all work out. God, I am really starting to sound like her!
