as they entered the meeting room the wizard king had left earlier that day, all eyes turned to the woman beside him and the dragon with fiery eyes at her side.
"thank you for waiting, everyone," the youthful wizard king said, struggling slightly to climb into his chair.
"you didn't dismiss us, so we weren't sure if we should leave. we decided to stay and wait for your return," said a man with striking red hair.
"a new knight, sir?" inquired a woman whose very presence and mana exuded pride.
"allow me to introduce Y/N L/N from spade, also known by the title 'lady her.' i trust she isn't a threat, and I hope my captains will trust my judgment as well," julius responded earnestly. despite his uncertainties, there was something about her presence that gave him a sense of reassurance. he could only hope that she wouldn't cause any trouble.
"she will be staying in clover for as long as she wishes. i believe you all are the first in clover she'll be meeting... is that correct?" julius started.
you performed a graceful bow, and your dragon, frost, followed suit by lowering her head in respect. after a few moments, you both rose in perfect synchrony.
"i would like to introduce myself as Y/N, without any other titles. this is my dragon, frost," you said proudly, your face remaining emotionless.
your mana was formidable, enough to shake even the captains, yet your presence did not exude the same eerie energy as that of the dark triad.
"that's what i call a lady," the woman remarked.
"if i may, sire, this woman possesses an immense amount of mana and claims to be from our enemy's territory. how can we lower our guard?" the fiery red-haired man questioned.
"yes, but i assure you, i am not your enemy. i myself consider the dark triad an enemy, do not fret, i vow not to bring harm to your kingdom," you said calmly, leaving the room in thoughtful silence.
the silver-haired man with the unique hairstyle sighed. "the magic emperor has welcomed you to our official magic knight captains meeting, so i shall respect his decision. but understand, i will keep my guard up. trust is not easily given."
you nodded at his remark. "i do not expect your trust immediately. now, if i may, i would like to explore your kingdom, with your permission, wizard king."
"of course. my captains and i need to continue our meeting," julius replied. you nodded and made your way to the door, bowing slightly before leaving, with your dragon following close behind.
"the woman is quite dashing..." the crimson-haired man muttered. "very interesting."
"oi, oi, it looks like mr. lion king has taken an interest in her!" the dark magic user teased.
the man with the braided bangs glanced at the so-called 'lion king' with a disgusted expression, "i cannot believe a royal must take interest in such a suspicious character."

time passed quickly as you flew around until you came across a massive skull—an enormous one.
"let's land over there, girl," you directed your dragon toward the skull's gaping mouth.
you dismounted and scanned the area. the landscape was filled with trees, but there was nothing of particular interest.
finding nothing that caught your eye, you climbed back onto the dragon and flew up to the top of the skull. still, there was nothing noteworthy.
groaning in frustration, you realized that night was approaching as the sun dipped below the horizon. you took in the beautiful scenery while lying on your dragon as she flew back toward the royal capital.
