the doors closed as the golden dawn's captain left the room, tension inside the room rose and everyone left inside was silent. taking in the words of the masked man before leaving them three speechless.

"had all of you considered why have i decided to send half of my troops to find a single woman just because i wanted to speak apologies to her?"

"i am aware of how much destruction and chaos i bought to clover and i know i don't deserve anything but punishment, yet if we let that lady fight along side the devils of spade-"

"she had yet to show us her magic, little knits of sparks and thunders is obviously far off to when she's on her limits. all of us here witnessed how her and that dragon alone could ruin an entire army of demons."

"she tamed a dragon, that reason alone is enough for normal people to fear her."

"if any of you is still unconvinced, forgive my disrespectful act but i will find her no matter what occurs. she's the only one i cherish left, you'd understand if you have someone you do not want to lose."

seeing the usually calm and collected man burst his emotions so openly is something the captains present did not expect to witness.

william's words cut deep in their minds, he spoke of nothing but the facts and dangerous possibilities.

and of course they are all aware of his abilities, they all knew he'll find the woman in no time, considering he's out for the goal in priority at the moment.

vangeance's eyes told the words that was cut short on his throat, "she's the only one i cherish left, you'd understand if you have someone you do not want to lose."

his short sentence cleared something right in the captains' minds, the usual mysterious man is out there with a clear and dedicated heart. he is once finally honest and is moving on his own will, the captains cannot let an opportunity like this slip away.

"i'll take care of the remaining reports and unfinished missions on vangeance's desk." charlotte spoke, breaking the silence as she stood up.

"i'll be having half of the paperworks captain roselei." fuegoleon stands up as well, giving the woman a look with a small smile of assurance.

while the dark magic user only stared at the two, loudly puffing the smoke out of his mouth.

the two expected something at least, "what? i already gave him a somewhat useful info." the man reasons, shrugging his shoulders.

both captains glared at the muscular man, sending daggers on his head with clear murder on their eyes.

"alright, alright.. send me the reports but no papers and shit" yami finally stands up, "that goldie owes me a bottle after this... or maybe he could rent a whole bar for a day.."

"also.. you guys look terrifying, don't look at someone like that again- especially you maam." yami lowers his head to match charlotte's height, earning a sigh before getting shoved to the side as the woman walks away, unbothered.

"eh, she still had a light pink on the cheeks- that should do it." yami mumbles, as fuegoleon laughs at him while they left the room.

just as a certain blond kid playing on a swing just in front of the door where the captains were earlier- has been smiling to himself the whole time.
