Lisa POV

"Hey Lisa!" I turned to see Jackson jogging towards me through the hall, causing me to mentally groan. The last thing I needed was Jennie to see this. I put on a smile and he caught up to me. "I wanted to apologize."

"For?"

"I feel like I make you guys think I'm trying to disrespect whatever you and Jennie have. That's not the case, I just don't make any girl friends here but I'd like to have one in you. You're cool and not like the rest of the bitchy vampires."

"What did you just say mutt." I turned to see an angry Irene glaring daggers at Jackson. I tensed immediately, knowing if she were to try something I might just get another week of detention.

"Come on, unnie. Drop it." Joy, the only vampire I can stand in this little group, said in a calming voice as she popped up next to Irene. She still gave Jackson a nasty look, but managed to pull Irene away before anything could happen.

"Extra hearing means nosy people I guess." I rose an eyebrow at him, causing him to chuckle nervously. "Except you, of course."

"Back to the apology, I understand. Let's just say Jennie is tad bit possessive, but she means well. I-"

"Wait. Did you just say tad bit? She literally has a sticky note on your back!"

I widened my eyes and he turned me around. Sure enough, there was a bright yellow sticky note.

SHE IS NOT SINGLE! TAKEN! MINE! -Kim Jennie

"I'm gonna wring her neck!" I crumpled the note and went to find that 5'3 mandu so I could kick her where the sun don't shine!

"KIM JENNIE." I snarled as I yanked open her dorm room. She was relaxing on the bed with headphones as she was studying. My anger caused her to yank off the headphones and I threw the crumpled paper at her.

Her confusion went away the moment she read it. She immediately blushed and even had the audacity to look proud!

"A STICKY NOTE?! ON ME?!"

"...you barely saw it?"

She screamed as I charged at her, jumping onto her and grabbing her pillow to whack her with it. She whined and used her strength to roll us. I glared at her, making her grin at me.

"Not cool, J. Had Jackson not seen that I wou-"

"Wait." Her glare was now directed at me and I mentally kicked my own ass. "That wolf boy was with you?! Did I not kick his ass hard enough to get the message through?!"

"Jennie no!" I pulled her back to me as she tried leaving the dorm, most likely to castrate a certain wolf. "Be nice. He apologized and won't do anything. Don't you trust me?"

"I do." He immediately turned to hug me, "I just don't like him. I'm sorry. I guess I'll ease up a bit."

"No more sticky notes on me!" I pinched her hip and she yelped. I looked over to the door when I heard skipping, a soft knock. I yelled for Rosé to come in and she came in wearing a huge grin.

"Guess who's the fastest swimmer! I even beat the sirens!"

"I mean I'd hope so with your long legs anyways." Jennie grinned as she sat next to me. "But I bet the sirens aren't too happy with that."

"Especially your ex fling." Rosé shrugged, sitting at Jennie's desk, twirling around in the seat. "Jisoo isn't out of class for another half our so I decided to come hang out with JenLisa."

"What'd you have planned?" I asked her, grabbing a pillow to hold to me. "We could go grab some blood from the blood bank."

I grinned at the grossed out expressions on their faces. "Kidding. Sort of."

"This is why you need vampires friends too." Rosé said, grabbing the bag of chips from Jennie's desk, earning a glare from the short Kim. "Sorry, Unnie. Not really."

"I would make vampires friends but they're all rude and Jennie, here, is too possessive." I glared at the Korean who didn't look the least bit ashamed. She knew she was possessive, didn't care, but in a way, I liked that about her.

She's not afraid to let me know I'm hers and she's mine. It's hot to me, just not writing sticky notes to leave on my back!

"Well you still have me and Jisoo." Rosé winked and I blew her an air kiss.

Jackson POV

"So what are we going to do about Kim?" Mark said as I joined the guys at the lunch table. I narrowed my eyes at him as I bit into my chicken. "Oh come on. That intersex stole your girl!"

"Lisa was never mine. Yeah, was interested, but I respect her. So leave Kim Jennie alone." I used my alpha tone, making sure each of the guys bowed their head in submission. I rarely used the tone but I was serious about this.

I never wanted to mess with Jennie, sure, didn't like her, but she's Lisa's, so I wouldn't disrespect my friend like that. I would never let anyone disrespect Lisa. Once I heard a vampire was joining, I was ready for our wolves to be outnumbered here, but Lisa was different.

She wasn't heartless like every other vampire. Sure, I was suspicious about that, but I prefer this Lisa over a bitch like Wendy. Those girls are ruthless, each sharing each other so you never know who's dating who.

Because that's how vampires are here. Just not Lisa, she wanted one person. Hell, she denied feeding off me when Sana attacked her. I needed some answers, but I couldn't question Lisa about it.

"I'll be back." I grabbed my stuff and left towards the library. I made my way to the vampire isle, noticing Joy was there as well. Joy may not be a complete bitch like the rest of her group, but she was still a bitch to us.

"What's a mutt doing in our isle." Joy was immediately glaring at me and I smirked, loving to push her buttons.

"Funny. Didn't know you owned the whole library. Didn't think I'd ever see you with a book in your hand."

"And that's so surprising?" She said with sass.

"Didn't think you knew how to read." She hissed at me and I smirked deeper, making her growl at me as she stormed past me. Her arm roughly shoving me into the wall and I rolled my eyes at her childish antics.

She's just pissed I banged Irene once, but that was 100 years ago, she needs to get over it.

I went to pick up the books that fell when I noticed one that stood out.

The Myth of the Turned Vampire

I picked it up, but before I could open it, I heard a sharp cough behind me. I turned to see Professor Dara standing there, her face emotionless as ever. But I saw her eyes flicker to the book in my hand.

"It's time you knew. Follow me, Jackson. There's something you should know about yourself...and your involvement with Lalisa."
