Lisa POV

I grinned at the A written on my test result paper. Only reason I lost a point was because I "unnecessarily" threw Seulgi into the ocean. I didn't care, it was totally worth the honor of remembering how she fell for eternity.

"Reading about how Jennie's a skank and won't last with you?" I heard the bitchy voice of Wendy say from beside.

"And now my happy mood is gone. What do you want?" I folded my paper, raising an eyebrow at the grinning vampire. "You have five seconds to tell me before I shove this paper so far down your throat y-"

"Okay girls. That's enough." Jisoo cut me off as she walked over to us. "Wendy don't you have a poor fairy to go traumatize?"

"Beats spending my time with a useless mermaid." Wendy blew a kiss at a red faced angry Jisoo. She walked past me, shoving her arm into mine childishly.

"Say the word and I'll toss her into the ocean for Rosé to drown all sixth period, Unnie." I offered Jisoo who pretended to think about it.

"I would but she's not worth the energy. But what's this I heard about Irene wanting to bite you? Jennie was throwing stuff at the wall all morning. You'd think the sex would have gotten it out of her system."

"Jennie could never have too much sex, she's literally a succubus. But I'll talk to her, Unnie. Irene wanted to bite me and have me join her little orgy group but I declined with a headbutt. Sometimes I feel like the vampires are going to notice I'm too different."

"You shouldn't have to feel like an orgy will throw off their suspicions. As far as I know, you seem normal to them and to the rest of the school. But enough vampire talk, the food hall is serving chicken!"

"And you're telling me this because?"

"So you can run me there! Duh!" Before I could respond, she jumped on me and I huffed in annoyance before running us to the cafeteria in less than ten seconds.

"Who...needs...an...Uber." Jisoo panted as she bent over to catch her breath. "Holy shit that had my heart racing. A little warning!"

"You LITERALLY jumped in my arms, Unnie!"

"Hey baby." I felt an arm slide around my waist and I smiled at Jennie, giving him a kiss on the cheek. "What did she do to annoy you now?"

"CHICKEN! BYE!" Jisoo ran towards the line that was starting to form for lunch and I asked Jennie if she was hungry but she had brought her own lunch. Me, personally, I was hungry but for blood.

"I hate this." I grumbled as I grabbed a blood bag from a vampire vending machine. We sat at the table with Jisoo and I poked the straw into the bag. "I miss fresh blood. The chase, the warm blood flowing down my throat. I want to go hunt."

"We can go tonight okay?" Jennie kissed my head as I grumbled, sipping my semi warm blood. "Only reason I'm saying that is because I actually wanted to go out to the town center."

Then, an angry Rosé came storming through the cafeteria doors. Practically throwing them open and everyone heard the commotion. I assumed she was mad from class or something, but no, she stormed straight over to Irene's table.

"I have HAD IT with the stupid mermaid jokes!" We all watched stunned as the easy going mermaid snapped, but I couldn't help but feel proud of my best friend for sticking up for herself.

"Tuna can, I think your girlfriend needs to cast a spell to put a muzzle on you. Or a leash."

"At least I have a girlfriend, Seulgi. By the way, how was the ocean yesterday? Heard you got tossed in while your "girlfriend" was trying to get with Lisa."

I mentally slapped myself and Rosé for mentioning it again as Jennie's eyes narrowed into slits. Jisoo slowly sat next to me, biting into a chicken leg as she watched intensely.

"You're pushing it." Seulgi hissed as her red eyes glared at Rosé, but she wasn't backing down.

"Oh bite me, bitch." Before Seulgi could run to Rosé, her water spilled and her feet were frozen in front of my friend. I was even more shocked when suddenly she turned around and slapped Irene across the face.

"THAT is for my best friend AND her girlfriend. I'm done being walked over. This mermaid, isn't a nice one anymore. Do "Tuna Can" a favor and get a new insult. Bye."

We couldn't help it, we all started clapping and shouting at Rosé who blushed as she walked over to our table. Just as Rosé was about to sit down, I saw Irene start to storm over so I quickly flashed in front of Rosé, just in time to push Irene back.

"Don't even try it." I glared at her, my own red eyes matching hers. "You deserved that slap and more. But go ahead, try touching her."

"Step aside then." She hissed out and I took a small step to the side, my eyes still challenging her.

"I. Dare. You."

I'll just kick Tuna's knee out, Lisa will easily block my punch but she won't expect a kick.

I inwardly smirked at her thoughts, just as she went to kick Rosé, I kicked her in the chest, sending her flying back to her table.

"ENOUGH!" We all turned to see Jackson rush over, his yellow wolf eyes glaring at Irene. "It's over now. Both of you stop."

Before I could react, he grabbed my arm and started to pull me out of the cafeteria. I saw Jisoo and Rosé struggling to hold Jennie back in her seat.

"What the-hello! Let go of me NOW!" I struggled against his grip as we walked out into the campus field. "Jackson Wang, so help me if you don't let go, you WILL lose a paw."

"Are you a child? You're ALWAYS getting into fights! If I wasn't there-"

"I don't NEED your protection! And first of all, fuck you. Second of all, fuck off. You have no business getting into what I do! You aren't my boyfriend!"

"I'm your protector!"

"Yeah well she's mine. So grab her like that again and you'll regret it." I smiled over at Jennie who was storming over to us. "I got it."

I watched as Jennie glared Jackson away, but he gave me a look that made it clear this wasn't the end of our conversation.

"Did he hurt you?"

"No. Annoyed me, but he didn't hurt me." I wrapped my arms around Jennie, pouting when he kissed my cheek. "You're annoying me now. You haven't kissed me at all today! You only kissed my cheeks and I'm feeling like my lips are being very forgotten and-"

I grinned into the quick but slow kiss I got from Jennie. I knew this was her way of shutting me up, but hey, I'll gladly take this from Kim Jennie.
