Lisa POV
I sighed as I typed out my essay for the Vampire History class I had. Ten whole fucking pages and I just would rather get the pain over with so here I am, on a Friday night, doing an essay. Jennie was with Jisoo out of campus for some family bonding and Rosé was visiting her sister for the weekend which was a long swim from Seoul to Melbourne.
I stretched my arms above my head when I finished the fourth page but a scent coming to my door made me turn my head.
"Just come in." I said to V, before he knocked. In a blink he was sitting on the edge of my bed beside me. A too innocent smile on his face. "Okay, what's the favor?"
"What?!" He gasped, holding his hand over his heart. "Lisa what is this, this, highly offensive accusation I'm hearing! The audacity! What would ever possess you to think I would simply come here for a favor rather than to see my friends company. Hurt. I'm truly hurt."
I blinked.
"But since you mention it," he gave me a big grin and batted his eyelashes at me, "The vampires are having a small get together at the tavern. I need a plus one. You're my only friend here."
I narrowed my eyes at him. "You do realize I don't like the vampires here right? I'm the outcast and to them, you're the cute new meat to play with."
"Which they could if they just asked but hey, you're cramped up in your dorm alone. On a fun night, please just hang out with a friend for a little."
I hissed at his puppy eyes, but he was right. A few hours of fun wouldn't hurt. He grinned when I nodded but I gestured to my pajamas.
"I'll wait outside." He patted my shoulder and flashed out to wait for me in the hall. I grabbed a simple flannel to tie around my waist as I put on my black crop top and skinny jeans. I slipped on my shoes and walked out the door, rolling my eyes at V's whistle.
"Why do I have a feeling you're not like the rest of us?" He didn't have a suspicious tone, but I could see he was very intrigued which made me a bit nervous.
I tried playing it off, "What do you mean?"
Suddenly I was being pinned against the wall, V had his arms on either side of my head, trapping me with his red eyes looking at me.
"Because if you were like the girls, and I had you like this, you wouldn't push me away if I wanted you right here. But I know if I try kissing you, you'll push me away for Jennie's sake."
"That a bad thing?" I glared at him, but he smiled at me.
"Nope. Because as much as I don't give a shit about anything, I actually would like to keep one friend. So I won't do anything, promise." He backed off, offering his arm to me.
She's gorgeous, but I know she'd tear me apart if I tried anything. I'm too pretty to be killed.
I mentally rolled my eyes at his thoughts as I took his arm, leading him to the tavern and sure enough, music was blasting and I could smell the blood inside.
We walked in, taking in the scene. There were two couples having sex in separate booths, blood flowing from their necks from the bites. Many were drinking blood bags and others alcohol. Vampires were dancing all over each other and I'm sure if Nini was here, she wouldn't be able to take all this sexual energy.
"Taehyung." Three girls suddenly appeared in front of us, cooing at him with their sickening sweet voices. "Oppa, dance with us." The way they held each other led me to believe that they were trying to do more than just dancing.
"After a drink."
"You could just ask." One cooed as she offered her wrist to him and I glared at her. "Unless you want her blood."
