I rushed to the hospital, Alan did not approve.
My phone rang again. I picked up "hello?"
Alan's voice spoke faster than usual. "Abbie, don't rush to his aide. You know what he did to me. To you. To us. He's evil. He doesn't deserve you"
I hung up.
My phone rang again.
I put it up next to my ear.
"Hello?"
"Abbie! Don't..." I hung up on Alan.
My phone rang. AGAIN.
"Yes!" I yelled impatiently.
"Are you Abbie Klier?" A soft spoken voice said.
"Yes"
"You are listed as Thomas Kliers emergency contact. Will you be coming to visit him, he keeps calling your name."
"Yes I'll be there soon"
10 minutes later.
I ran until the hospital.
"Welcome to...." The front desk lady said.
"Hi. I'm here for Thomas Klier" I interrupted her.
"Room 14" she sounded less than excited.
I ran into room 14.
Thomas sat up in bed. Chanting one single word. Abbie.
"Abbie. Abbie. Abbie."
"Thomas?" I walked next to his bed.
"Abby?" He looked at me.
"Yes."
"How do I know you?" Thomas adjusted his hair.
"I'm your wife."
"Really?"
"Yes! Remember you..."
The doctor pulled me aside. "Thomas suffered some major head trauma. He has lost his memory. And will never get it back."
"Oh. Should I take him home and help him regain his memories?"
"That would be our best option."
"When can I bring him home?"
"Now, we just need to discharge him."
About an hour later I was sitting in the drivers seat of my car where Thomas sat in the passengers seat.
"So... Your my wife?" Thomas asked for the thousandth time.
"Yes."
"So, tell me about me and you and everything. All I reember is Abbie"
"Alright. What do you wanna know" I smiled.
"Your full name? My full name?"
"My name was Abbie Stephanie Lynch, your name is Thomas Klier. We got married and now I'm Abbie Stephanie Klier"
"How did we meet?"
"I was in the library and rammed into you." I smiled, I loved our story.
"Do we have any kids?" Thomas' bright green eyes looked at me with a look of confusion.
"No. Do you want kids" great question. Yes? Good I'm pregnant. No? Well....
"Of course!" He grabbed my hands.
"Good. Because. I'm pregnant"
"That's great! I'm gonna be a father! I love you!" I pulled into the driveway of Jason, Alan, and Kate's house.
"Is this our house?"
"No it's my siblings house." I hugged him.
I walked inside. Jason and lilac sat holding hands. Kate was sitting with a guy. Alan sat alone.
"Hey guys!" Thomas was in the car, I told him to come in in a few minutes.
"Abbie! Great news! Lilac and I are getting married" Jason spoke and lilac showed me the ring.
"That's great!"
"Oh and this is my boyfriend, Zack." Kate gestured to a tall guy.
"Hi. It's nice to meet you!"
Alan stood up. "Hello Abbie. How's the baby?"
"It's good. Gonna find out what the gender is tomorrow."
"I think it's a girl." Kate says.
"I think it's a boy" Jason says and lilac agrees.
Then Thomas walks in.
"Hey Abbie, I couldn't figure out how to turn the car off so." He walks over and kisses me.
Alan stands up and tackles Thomas.
