"You've arrived at you destination. Please exit through the door quietly" the loudspeaker booms through my ears.
I grab my bag and walk off the plane. I'm here. A smile starts to form across my face. I feel a shove from behind me.
"Watch where your going hippie" I hear a voice behind me say.
I spin around to face them. "Sorry for being creative" I flick my hair and walk off the loading deck. I wheel my suitcase to the front doors. Before anyone can stop me I open the door and stand guard waiting for my taxi.
A car pulls up in front of me.
I hop in the back seat and kick my feet up.
"Where are you going miss?" A man with a thick Indian accent
"76 sparrow court. And make it snappy" I say continuing my British accent.
He pushes the gas and we speed off into the distance.
When we arrive something that I haven't seen in weeks starts to form. On my face, a smile.
I walk up to the door and reach my hand onto the doorbell.
Ring. Ring. Ring.
My dad answers the door. "Abbie? What are you doing here? What happened to your hair?"
Instead of speaking I just hug him.
"Abbie? How did you get here? Why aren't you in Hollywood? Shouldn't you be in school?" He spills answers toward me.
I don't answer, I just look at the floor.
"Abbie?" He wipes a tear from my cheek.
But I'm done crying.
"I left. I took a bus. I came here." He let's go of me.
"You what?!? I told you to stay there! I'm calling Jane right now!" He reaches for his phone.
I grab it and put it back on the counter.
"No. I'm done being chased, and given away. And it's Blondy. Jane is too unoriginal" I say mimicking her.
"I'm your father and that's final!" He starts to scream.
I hug him one last time.
"Well then, I'm off again. I'll call you in a few months. Bye" and with that I grab my bag and start to run.
I've never been a fast runner but right now my legs are moving faster than ever.
"Abbie! Come back!" I hear his shouts from behind me. But I don't stop. I don't look back.
I run to the only person who will open me with well, open arms.
I run to her house, it's only like half a mile.
When I get there I ring her doorbell.
Ring. Ring. Ring.
She answers the door with shock.
"Abbie?" She says.
"I've missed you so much!" I hug her.
She stumbles a little but regains her balance.
"What are you doing here?"'
"I ran away. I'll explain it to you in a minute. Can I stay here tonight."
She turned 18 2 months ago and she moved out. This her apartment she sent me the address.
"Of course" she says.
"Thanks James"
