It's been. Month since Alan was arrested. We have been called numerous times by the police saying we should come and talk to Alan. None of us knew how to respond.
I responded with a No. I didn't want to see him.
My phone rang, once again.
I decided to answer.
"Hello?" I bite my lip.
"Is this Abbie Lynch?" I hear the voice of a police officer.
"Yes."
"Be quiet or get out!" The librarian yells to me.
"Alan Lynch requests your presence at his court tomorrow."
"I'll be there. Goodbye" I quiet my voice and close my phone.
I grab my bag and start to walk out the door.
I hit what I think is a wall, sadly it's a person.
I look up and stutter an apology.
"So...s....sor....r...ry" I stare into his green eyes. His hands moves up to his hand and he brushes back his perfectly spiked hair.
"I bumped into you" he starts to laugh.
"Oh... Oops." I start to laugh too.
"Out! Yes you two! Out!" The librarian yells to us.
The two of us run to the parking lot.
"So... Do you wanna go grab coffee or something?" His voice scares me.
"Sure. But I don't have a car I walked here"
"That's ok, I have a car."
I follow him, he has a red car with a dent in the front.
"What happened?" I touch the break.
"I got in a car accident a little while ago."
For the next 4 hours we sat at a coffee shop learning everything about each other.
His name is Thomas Kruil. He is 19 years old. He goes to Denfill College. And he is my boyfriend.
