"So how's living alone." I sit in James' carpet.
"It's ok" James looks up at me with a smile.
"Do you like my hair?" I ask spinning it between my fingers.
"Love it, almost as much as my hair"
Recently James died her hair. She cut it short then put in red highlights.
"Love the new hair look, BTW"
We both laugh, it was good to see her again.
"Thank you very much" she's doing it again.
She does this ALL THE TIME
She pretends to have a Irish accent then prances around the house in the accent.
And this Is why she is my best friend.
"So, what are you going to go now?" She asks me
"Wherever the wind takes me"
"Well have fun. I'll see you in the morning."
And with that she was asleep.
It was just me and my mind. Or my mind and I to be correct.
I was just thinking about everything. I realized something.
I needed to go back.
I needed to talk to Jaosn, to Kate. To Sylvia, to Lilac.
None of them know where I am.
I grab a piece of paper and write a note for James.
James,
I'm sorry. I needed to leave. I need to go back. By the time you read this I'll be on a plane. Call me.
