I quickly hid my face hoping they don't notice me.
"Hi Abbie" The right one says, smirking an adorable smirk.
"Do you know each other?" Heather says.
"I uh... We go to school together" I say grabbing my jacket.
"Oops" my dad says again.
*20 minutes later*
"Reservation for 5, Lynch."
"Those two tables over there." The waitress says gesturing toward a table for four and a table for 2.
My dad and Heather *cough cough* The Witch *cough cough* sit at the table for two leaving the table for four to me and the smirkers. I'm just so hilarious sometimes! I crack myself up! I brush the back of my dress as I sit on the right side of the table and they sit on the left.
"So.... How's your day?" The one on the left says.
"Don't talk to me." I say not even looking up from the menu.
"Listen, we know it's gonna be awkward going to the same school when our parents are getting married, and all. And the fact that were popular and your.."
"I'm what?" I say staring at them with disgust in my eyes.
"What he meant to say was that you have a personality, which therefore means your not popular."
"Oh I'm not, am I?" I say twisting my head.
"Listen, let's just start over. I'm Jason, and this is Alan" he says reaching his hand over the table to shake mine."
"Fine let's start over. I'm Abbie" shaking Jason's hand.
"Uh... Guys? I think it would be best if nobody knew we were... Living together" Alan chimes in.
"Deal. I don't want anyone to start any rumors."
"Me neither. By the way, which room will we be sleeping in, in your house?"
"The guest room."
"So on the note of not telling anyone. What happens when we have friends over?" Jason says.
"We hide"
