The ghost of you

(A/N I dont know how to end the previous chapter so yeah)
Lauren's POV:
I woke up with 2 texts from my mom.
Mom: your cousin, Kellin, got in a car accident & we want you to come home. I know your dream is to live in cali & be a youtuber but i want to see you. Sent at 7:35 am.
Mom: please answer me. Sent at 8:50 am.
"This can't be happening." I mumbled to myself.
"Lauren?" Bryan said.
"Y-Yeah?" I said as i wiped away a few tears.
"Kellin got in a car accident." Bryan said as his voice cracked.
"I know!" I yelled, sobbing.
"He's my cousin, bryan!" I cried out.
Bryan stood there, just staring at me.
"Bryan, i have to go home to see my family. Can you & johnnie please come with me? I really don't want to go home by myself." I said as tears fell down my cheeks.
He sat on my bed & hugged me tightly.
"We'll come with you. We haven't met your mom or sister yet." Bryan said.
"My sister has a boyfriend, just letting you know." I said.
"Oh." Bryan said with a frown.
Johnnie walked in.
"Bryan, why are you hugging Lauren?" Johnnie asked.
"Kellin got in a car accident." I said as tears escaped from my eyes.
"Bostwick?" Johnnie asked.
"Sadly, yes. He's Lauren's cousin." Bryan said.
"Oh my gawd." Johnnie said as he ran to me & hugged me.

My mom was calling me. I put it on speaker.
Me: hi mom.
Mom: hi honey, please stay strong.
Me: I'm trying, it's not easy.
Bryan: is it okay if johnnie & i go to massachusetts with lauren?
Mom: yeah, i want her to be safe.
Johnnie: how are you guys related to kellin?
Mom: his mom, mary, is my cousin. Therefore, kellin is lauren's cousin.
Me: we had so many memories at warped.
Meghan: who are you talking to?
Mom: your sister.
Meghan: i miss you asshat.
Me: i miss you too fuckface.
Johnnie: you guys are so nice to eachother.
Meghan: i know right.
Me: when should i get on the plane?
Mom: theres a plane for 5:30 pm.
Me: is that okay with you guys?
Johnnie: yeah
Bryan: yup
Mom: i got to go, your father just got home from work, i love you.
Me: i love you too.
I hung up.

"I'm gonna take a quick shower." I said.
"Okay." Johnnie said as he kissed my forehead.
