Social casuality

Lauren's POV:
(A/N the picture above is the actual dress I'm wearing to the social)
*flashback to dress shopping*
"What color do you want?" Meghan asked.
"Light blue." I said.
We saw one & walked towards it.
"That's really pretty." Meghan said.
"Yeah, I'm gonna try it on." I said as i walked to a dressing room.
I put it on.
Meghan was waiting outside the door to see how i look in it.
I opened the door.
"Oh my gawd, you look so pretty." Meghan said.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yeah, all we need is to find you a date for social. Any boys that you like?" Meghan asked.
"Yeah but he's popular..." I said.
"Oh, what's his name?" Meghan asked.
"Kyle" I said.

"You could ask him" Meghan said.
"He doesn't know i exist..." I said as i walked back into the dressing room to take off the dress & put my regular clothes on.
We bought the dress.
"$82 is your total." The cashier said.
I gave her the money.
"Have a great day girls." The cashier said.
"Thank you." We said at the same time.

*flashback to winning the contest*
We went home to see if i won the contest. I did.
"OH MY FUCKING GOD." I screamed.
"Yeah?" Meghan asked.
"I won!!" I said while flailing my arms like a bird.
"Dad!!" Meghan screamed.
"Yeah?" My dad asked.
"Lauren won!!" Meghan said.
I started crying.
"When do we leave?" My dad asked.
"In 2 weeks." I said.
You see, those weren't tears of joy. They were tears of fear.
I knew that if i won, my dad would have to go with me.
*flashback over*
The social is in 3 days & i still don't even have a date. I wish Johnnie could come but he can't buy a ticket since he's in California.
Ill just go with my friends, they probably have dates though.
Ugh.
Long distance relationships suck.
I don't even know if i want to go anymore.

Meghan walked into my room.
"Hey, i just got off the phone with Bryan." Meghan said.
"Hey, i dont even know if i want to go to the social anymore. I mean, my boyfriend is on the other side of the country." I said.
"Go with James, Jeydon, or Kyle." Meghan said with a wink.
"Okay." I sighed.
I'll ask Jeydon later. If i asked kyle, it'd be kinda awkward.

Johnnie's POV:
Shannon mailed me the ticket 2 weeks ago. Bryan & I are flying to Massachusetts to surprise lauren.
Meghan told me that i cant see her until the night of the social.
We boarded the plane & had a 5 hour flight to Massachusetts.
We slept the whole flight.
We stayed in a hotel for 3 days, on the second day, we went to Lauren's house.
I was wearing a light blue dress shirt & dress pants, i had a blue flower corsage for her. I rang the doorbell.

Lauren's POV:
I decided to go with my friends & their dates.
Hanna was with Sam
Amber was with David
Shannon was with Brett
Chloe was with Lukas
Jeydon was with Samantha
I had no one.
I heard someone at the door.
I opened the door.
"JOHNNIE!" I yelled as i hugged him.
"Will you go to social with me?" Johnnie asked.
"Yes." I said as he put the light blue flower corsage on my left hand.
I kissed him, he kissed back.
Everyone was clapping.
"I missed you so much." I said.

Hanna's mom drove hanna & sam to the social.
Bryan drove johnnie & i to the social.
Shannon's dad drove shannon & brett to the social.
Chloe's mom drove chloe & lukas to the social.
Jeydon's dad drove jeydon & samantha to the social.

We arrived at the same time, obviously.
I heard whispering.
"Johnnie, just ignore them." I said.
We walked into the school & headed towards the gym.
"Your school is huge." Johnnie said.
"So is your dick." I whispered in his ear so no one heard.
He bit his lip.
This night is gonna be fun.
The first song that played was anaconda. Jesus christ.
We went up & requested a few songs.
I requested:
-bulletproof love by pierce the veil
-love like woe by the ready set
-kissing in cars by pierce the veil
-i feel like dancin' by all time low
-kids in the dark by all time low
-backseat serenade by all time low
A slow song came on.
It was kiss me by Ed Sheeran.
Johnnie put his hands on my waist & i put my hands on his shoulders.
"I love you." Johnnie said.
"I love you more." I said as i put my head on his chest.
We swayed side to side.
"You know, if you didn't show up i probably would've ditched." I said.
"It was meghan's idea. We've been planning it for a month." Johnnie said.
"I'm so glad you're mine." I said as i kissed his cheek.

The song ended.
"Lauren?" James said.
"James, go away." I said.
Johnnie removed his hands from my waist. Uh oh.
"I heard you kissed lauren." Johnnie said.
"Yeah, im sorry, i didnt know she had a boyfriend." James said.
"Its okay but please dont do it again. I love her a lot & shes moving in with me in the summer, permanently." Johnnie said as he put his arm around my waist.
"Yeah." I said with a smile.
James walked away.
"He seems like an ass." Johnnie said.
"He is." I said.

Chloe came running up to me.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"No! Lukas is kissing another girl." Chloe said while sobbing.
I hugged her.
"Do you want me to yell at him?" Johnnie asked.
"No, i dont want you to get hurt." Chloe said.
"Okay." Johnnie said.
"Do you want to dance with me & Johnnie?" I asked.
"No, you guys need to be alone." Chloe said as she walked away.
"Chloe wait." I said as i ran towards her with Johnnie.
I saw Lukas.
"You're an ass. How dare you do that to my best friend." I said.
"At least chloe isnt a slut like you." Lukas said.
Johnnie hit him.
Jeydon ran towards us & told Johnnie & I to get away so we wouldn't get hurt.
"Lukas stop. Lauren isn't a slut. She hasn't done anything with Johnnie." Jeydon said.
Lukas hit Jeydon.
I yelled for help.
The principal ran towards us & took Lukas to his office.
"Are you okay Jeydon?" I asked.
"Yeah, he hits like a girl." Jeydon said.
We all laughed.
The social ended & all of us went back to my house.
