A match into water

Johnnie's POV:
The nurse walked into the room & asked us to leave.
We left the room & went to the waiting room.
"I bet they're taking her to a mental hospital, again." Her mom said.
"How long will she be there?" I asked.
"Maybe a few weeks." Meghan said.
"Oh, when i went to one of those places i was there for a week. It was honestly really scary, some guy threatened to kill me." I said.
"How many times have you been there?" Her mom asked.
"Only once, what about lauren?" I asked.
"This will be her second time." Her mom said.
I saw the nurse come out with lauren. Lauren's eyes were red. I walked over to her.
She hugged me & whispered "i have to go to the mental hospital, again." I hugged her tighter.
"You need to stop doing this to yourself." I whispered in her ear as tears fell down my cheeks.
"Johnnie, how did you stop self harming?" Lauren asked.
"I flushed my blades, i got rid of everything that i could use to hurt myself." I said.

I got a phone call from austin jones.
Me: hey dude
Austin: i heard lauren's in the hospital so i got on a plane. I just landed in california, what hospital is she at?
Me: thats awesome & im sure shell be happy to see you & we're at white memorial medical center.
Austin: okay, I'll see you soon & don't tell lauren, i want it to be a surprise.
Me: okay, i won't.
Austin: bye
Me: bye

"Who was that?" Lauren asked.
"A friend of mine." I said.
"Oh, okay." Lauren said with a faint smile.
"Bryan, i need to tell you something." I said.
"Okay." Bryan said.
We walked out of the room & closed the door.
"Austin is gonna be here soon to meet lauren & sing lauren a few songs." I said.
"Carlile or Jones?" Bryan asked.
"Jones." I said.
"Okay, i hope he sings 'we'll fall together' & tells her why suicide is never the answer." Bryan said.

My phone vibrated, austin texted me saying that he's in the lobby.
"He's here." I said.
"Okay, text him the room number." Bryan said.
"Okay." I said.
I texted him the room number.
We saw him walking up the last 2 steps.
"Hey, are you ready to meet her?" I asked.
"Yeah." Austin said with a smile.
We walked into the room.
"Austin!" Lauren said as her hazel eyes lit up.
