****Loki's POV****

We arrive at the base, the goddess sleeps peacefully on my shoulder wrapped up on my lap. The secret is out now.. The others are obviously aware of our interest in one another.

I am glad, hopefully this stops the solider & widows advances on her. Since the day she arrived both of them had been kind to her, which I appreciate. But they both had thought about her with a little too much desire in their minds most of the time. That stopped tonight, I would not allow it anymore.

She is mine.

I hate to admit it but tonight was enjoyable, even surrounded by a portion of the Avengers. They were not as insufferable as I first believed, though Stark was not present which suited me just fine.

The others begin to exit the van and I stand holding Envy in my arms still.

"We are here darling.." I whisper into her ear giving her hair a light nudge with my nose. Gods her scent.. Why does it intice me so.

She stirs in my arms and her golden eyes flicker open. She is confused for a second before she realises she is still in my grasp. "I slept the whole way?!" I place her down gently on the concrete outside. Thor is staring at us both with his idiotic grin.

"The Captain has invited us for a night cap, Will you both be joining us?"

I look to Envy. She is looking to me with her eyebrow raised waiting to see what I choose to do. I have no intention of wasting anymore time with the heroes. "I will give it a miss, send the Captain my regards but I think I will turn in for the evening.."

"Me too Thor. Thank the Captain for the invitation .." Envy adds.

Thor lets out a small laugh and takes Envys hand kissing it briefly, the action urks me regardless on how innocent it is. "As I thought my Lady..' He comes and wraps me into a hug and I still with the unexpected gesture. "I bid you both good night then.. Sleep well."

With a wink Thor leaves us and enters the building leaving Envy and I standing there. I take her hand in mine and in a flash we are back in the suite. She stumbles slightly and I wrap my arms around her waist pulling her to me.

"Next time give me warning before you teleport us Loki, I am not as used to it as you" She smiles and her eyes meet mine as I gaze down at her stunning face. We are both silent as we stare into eachother. I wonder does she feel this way too.. I am drawn to her like a moth to a flame. When she is around me my thoughts are clouded by her. It is both exciting and terrifying.. What is happening to me.

"Loki? Whats wrong?" She asks concerned, her brows furrowed. Her hand reaches up and caresses my cheek and I lean my face into her warmth. I am the god of lies, but with her I feel I have no choice but to be completely honest, but I do not know how to put my feelings into words for I barely understand them myself.

I grab her close and use my hand to arch her neck so her lips are hoovering just below mine. She lets out a surprised yelp and that is my undoing. I crash my lips to hers and stifle a groan into her wanton mouth.

Have I ever wanted someone as much as her.. Never.
