Green with Envy

First mission

****Envys POV****

"So are you guys all clear on the extraction plan?"
Steve asked us. It was hard to take him serious in that uniform..

"Yes Steven. We infiltrate the HYDRA base, Clint will take out the lookouts while you and Natasha clear the outside perimeter.. and I will use my godly charm to turn any HYDRA soldiers I come across into my personal puppets until they lead us to the sceptre.. correct?"

I can see Natasha's amusement on her face while Steve looks exasperated.
"I think I said it all a little more technical than that but.. in a nutshell yes. That's the plan. Now remember watch each other's six. We came as a small group so we wouldn't be noticed .. I don't want many casualties on this mission. Just in- get the sceptre - and out. Got it?"

"Got it cap!" Clint calls from the pilot chair and Natasha nods in agreement.

"Is that why Stark didn't come, so we would keep a low profile?"I ask.

"HYDRA would see him coming a mile off.. and a bright red robot suit of armour playing AC/DC over its speakers isn't exactly inconspicuous. We want this to be plain sailing.."

I understand the captains decision. Tony was a nice guy but he acts first and thinks later. When it came to the tech and invention side of the team Stark was the go to.. but Steve had great leadership skills.
I trusted Steve to get us all out in one piece too, not that I worried for myself I was practically bulletproof but I didn't want the guilt of one of my new friends being killed on my first mission.

"Don't worry Cap. We got the upper hand on this one.. they have no clue we're coming. We have the element of surprise on our side..'
Clint assures Steve who looks tense. I guess he will be like this until we are all safely back on the Quinjet with the sceptre.

"We coming up to close to the base now guys. Let's land this thing and get into position."

We touched down in a forest a few miles off a large castle in a place called Sokovia.
This small city wasn't exactly a tourist attraction, wars had ravaged the once beautiful landscapes and towns until it was run down and in need of a upheaval in both structure and leadership.

Tony had traced the energy signature of the sceptre here just by chance.. once he has intercepted it , we had looked into the cities history more.
It was the perfect place for HYDRA to hide.

Different country's armies and mercenaries came and went from this place, HYDRA had taken advantage of this and moved themselves to the castle under the shadows without being noticed.

After splitting up, Steve and Natasha head off into the woods. Barton takes the to the trees , the tall oaks hiding him perfectly as he trails above me.

'Jarvis.. where are the nearest outposts from here?' I ask my AI.

'700metres madam. There is a number of soldiers situated here. They have a range of weapons and vehicles at their disposal.'

'Perfect. Maybe I should go and introduce myself..'

I make my way towards the direction of the soldiers and quickly stumble upon them.

"přestaň, kde jsi! zvedni ruce!" (Put your hands up! Don't move!)

There are two soldiers pointing their weapons at me. Reading their minds they are both confused and shocked to find a woman alone so far out in the dense forest.

I will their minds to put down their weapons and find out that their are another 3 men inside the security turret.

"Barton, I'm going to get you a uniform.. we will get these two to drive us right up to the castle.." I say through my comms.
