"Okay, that's enough for today, we will follow this up tomorrow.."

"But I'm not finished yet."

Steve looks over at Natasha whose concern is evident in her soft features.
They have been training with the goddess for two days now..
Both days they would stop their sparring after hours of gruelling training and call it a day but Envy remained by herself.

"Envy.. you need to take a break. Come on, have you even eaten today?" Natasha coos trying to talk her around.

"I didn't eat for 6 months and lived Natasha, I think I'll be okay. And I don't want a break.. I want to train."
The goddess turns her attention from her team mates and continues to punch and kick the heavy bag.

"What are we supposed to do? She won't listen to either of us?"

"Maybe she just needs to blow off some steam. We can't force her to leave, let's just hope she tires herself out." Steve sighs and wipes off his forehead with his towel.

Natasha didn't want to leave the goddess, but since Loki up and left she had been in a foul mood. All she wanted to do was train. No matter what they said or did they could not get the woman to crack a smile.

It wasn't only her mood that had soured either.

Envy looked exhausted. The bags under her usually bright yellow eyes were almost black now and she seemed on edge constantly.

Sparring with her had been demanding to say the least. She seemed hell bent on beating Steve and Natasha over and over again, if she lost one round she wanted to go again right away.

"Don't just stand there looking at me! I told you I am fine! Now get out! Your paranoid thoughts about my well being are loud and giving me a headache!!" Envy yells at the two avengers.

"We are just worried about you.."

The raven haired woman lets out a scream before kicking the heavy bag so hard it breaks off the chain holding it to the ceiling and is thrown across the room.

"I don't need your concern.. I need to train. Now go.. leave me be."

After a beat the two avengers decide to leave the goddess to her own devices.

"What's gotten into her?  She was fine a few days ago?"

"I dunno. I think Loki up and leaving really upset her."

"Yea about that..' Steve nervously rubs his neck.

"About what?" Natasha asks a now guilty looking Steve Rogers.

The widow folds her arms and stares at the captain suspiciously.

"Well.. you see.. Stark and Loki kind of got into it the other day."

"That's no different from any other day and what does that have to do with him leaving?"

"I know they are always at one another's throats but this was a bit more personal than usual.."

Natasha pauses for a moment before gathering what the captain is getting at.
"Stark!! That idiot.. he threatened Loki because of Envy!"

"Yea.. it wasn't pretty. I thought Loki was going to kill Tony, but he let him go and just up and left without saying goodbye to Envy."

"So that's why she's so pissed.. ugh men. You really can't help yourselves can you!"

"What did us 'men' do this time?"

Natasha and Steve turn to see Clint Barton coming towards them. He gives them both a smile and pulls Natasha into a hug.

"Barton! About time you showed up.. the air vents were getting dusty without you around to clean them.."
