Faye flicked through her Astronomy book, finding the page where she'd drawn the constellations from their class a month before. "Francesca, you missed almost all of them." Faye laughed, passing her book to the girl. "I was having a very interesting conversation and got a bit.. Caught up." Francesca frowned. "I'm not angry with you, Fran." Faye smiled kindly. Sometimes Francesca needed that reminder.

"I know." Francesca's face warmed. "Hey-what's going on over there." She frowned again--pointing behind Faye to where Draco and Edens voices were getting progressively louder. "Inflegli is not a real spell!" Eden was whispering harshly--trying to avoid Professor Sinistra's attention as the students around them glanced curiously towards the pair.

"I'm sure it's nothing." Faye turned back to Francesca. "You told me to do your charms homework. You never said I had to do it well." Draco was laughing now. "You at least had to follow the instructions! I can't submit a paper written about a fictional spell that gives infants spider-legs." Eden seethed, waving a sheet of parchment around in his face. "That sounds like a wonderful spell." Francesca beamed. "Should we do something?" She then asked as Eden began to tear Draco's book in two.

"My constellations!" Draco made a grab for it. "Oh, please. You copied Theo's work anyway." She scoffed. "Okay, I'll go rescue Draco, then, I suppose." Faye jumped to her feet as Eden made a move to snatch up another of Draco's books.

"Eden." Faye placed a hand on Eden's elbow and she nearly jumped out of her skin. "People are staring." Faye whispered and Eden's cheeks heated as she glanced around the Astronomy tower. "I'll help with your charms homework, just come sit back down." She requested gently as Draco gathered the remains of his book--mumbling under his breath.

"I will skin you alive, Mafoy. Just you wait." Eden hissed as Faye led her away. "That was fantastic!" Francesca squealed as they took their seats. Blaise and Theo were apparently trying to calm Pansy as she shot dagger eyes at Eden from across the tower.

"What's wrong, Eden?" Faye asked quietly as Francesca copied down the constellations. "He messed up my charm's homework on purpose." Eden seethed. "Something else is wrong, though, isn't it." Faye smiled that knowing smile.

"Of course not." Eden shook her head. "Okay." Faye finished softly, picking up her own quill and tuning into the lesson. Eden had been lying, Faye knew, but she wouldn't push it. Her friend would tell her when she was ready. And if she never did, then Faye could live without knowing.

Draco sat at the front of the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, his eyes on the chalkboard ahead. He hated theory lessons. Hated them. A chilled breeze filtered through an open window, cooling his warm neck--Draco allowed himself only a moment do enjoy it before he rose from his seat.

He didn't care about the students around him, their ties loosened and jackets off as they fanned themselves. He didn't care about the sweltering heat, not as he walked straight up to the window and pulled it shut. "Hey!" There were immediate shouts of protests--and someone even tossed a scrunched up piece of paper at his head. "What are you doing! It's boiling!" Someone cursed.
