Secret about techno(angst/plot twist)

((Okay so I do keep the Headcanon of sbi family but I'm a do a plot twist here since canonically dream Smp wise. Techno is just a friend to Phil. For context here, Schlatt and dream are actually older than they seem kind. My friend TheMuraders_Moony had the flowers from 1970 au in it so that's why Dream seems older than he looks. Plus Schlatt was actually there at the time Phil and Kristin were and they were all close friends. Only one who remembers techno being alive then is Kristin)

Tubbo:*sees Phil looking at a grave*what's Phil doing? Wilbur is alive, why is he staring at the grave?

Ranboo:maybe he missed ghostbur? Let's ask him*comes over to Phil*hey Phil you okay?

Phil:*he was staring at the grave, frozen in both shock and fear*...

Tubbo:what's wrong?

Ranboo:*nudges Tubbo*Tubbo look *points at the grave*

Tubbo:*looks at it and widens eyes*this is techno's grave?! B-but he didn't die!!

*the grave showed techno's "dead name" on it with his nickname of Technoblade. It stated the day he was born from when he died which seemed a very long time ago. It stated that he was a very caring, protective good friend of Phil, Dream and Schlatt*

Phil:but....if he's dead then who have Kristin and I been taking care of since they were little?

Ranboo:...techno's dead? Isn't that around the time you, Schlatt and dream were alive with Kristin?

Phil:yeah but I don't remember techno being alive then

Techno:*was standing behind them*because you guys kinda forgot about me after my death. Though you guys were very heartbroken, Kristin did take some memories that I was ever alive then to try and help you move past it

Ranboo:if your dead then how are you here? We're you revived like Wilbur and that's why you got 3 lives back?

Techno: not exactly. What your looking at when looking at me is an illusion created by Kristin to make you think I'm here and I've been like this since I was a little

Tubbo:what about your parents and siblings?

Techno:they do exist. When I was talking about all that happened and not having a good relationship with my parents or accidentally killing my siblings because I lost control is in fact real but it happened a long time ago

Phil:how come tommy, Wilbur and Schlatt didn't see you like in limbo or whatever it is when you are dead

Techno: because I don't have one. I chose to stay here. Uhm...I'm here so try and help you all grow stronger, learn how to fight and defend yourselves...especially with tommy as tommy reminds me of myself when I was younger back then

Tubbo:he does?

Techno:yeah that's why I try to push him to get him to grow and get stronger. He's very stubborn but independent like I was...of course how I probably affected him is something I did not mean to do and it was probably the wrong way of doing it and of course he can still hate me and not forgive me, that's understandable

Tubbo:so did you help blow up l'manberg for those reasons?

Techno: I mean...well no, maybe but not entirely. I hated government because of how it affected my own parents being "royals" and affected my grandfather, belliam which I still hate...I saw how it affected Wilbur and even Schlatt and then you, Tubbo. I just have bad experiences with it and I didn't want anyone else to be corrupted like that...but I suppose history does repeat a lot*looks down*

Ranboo:so belliam isn't your great grandfather?

Techno:I mean I guess as this techno yes he is, but as old me. No he was just my grandfather not great grandfather. Wanna know why when he appeared here, he wanted to kill me?

Tubbo:why?

Techno:he was the one who brutally killed me actually. Phil you don't remember it but you do remember seeing your own father die from outside of his mansion right?

Phil:yeah...it was a shocking moment

Techno:yeah well after Karl was the last to die then. You ran in unexpectedly to go to your father...belliam's butler had actually gotten out of control of the egg and ran off. But belliam was still there and he was going to kill you...

Phil:he did. He took my first life and then that one baby zombie took my second one

Techno:no. Back then at that time I had one life left and I ran in, seeing that. I protected you and took a sword to the chest...he however did not take your first left. You lost your first and second life with your hardcore adventure stuff honestly

Ranboo:you were killed by your own grandfather?

Techno:yep....that's why when we met again. He wanted to kill me because he was scared and shocked to see me still here when he thought he killed me and he did. This me I'm showing you right now is illusion. However, I'm actually a ghost

Tubbo:but I thought ghosts only come back if they have unfinished business? That's why ghostbur appeared for Wilbur and Schlatt is Glatt. Are you kinda like a vengeful one in a way or like them?

Techno:I mean they have different reasons for being a ghost which I have no idea what it is. But for me, oh yes I do have unfinished business. I'm very vengeful...*puts his hands in his pockets and stands there smiling and then sighs* but also Kristin let me be like this to help and protect you guys

Phil:so she had secrets she kept from me? About you?

Techno:because I told her to Phil. Not to mention, not everyone is gonna be perfect. Some secrets were best left to be hidden and I wanted to keep it that way. This grave was hidden far away and by invisibility, so I don't know how you guys even found this

Phil: it's like the invisible stairs that drista made. I bumped into it and used a potion to reveal it

Techno:oh...I guess maybe I should've hid it better but I guess you did have to know at some point. So now you know...*smiles a bit*it's okay to hate me right now honestly, I understand that since I hid this huge of a secret from you and Schlatt and dream

Phil:...I'm not angry..I just...I gonna need to be alone for a bit to think about this

Techno:*nods*understandable

Phil:*nods, smiling a bit and walks off*

Tubbo: so what were you to Phil, my dad and dream?

Techno: comfort buddy and very close best friend for Dream back then. I comforted him a lot when he was going through things. For Schlatt and Phil, I was more like a brother to them but I also was fairly protective and caring towards them. Though schlatt as always is good at peer pressuring someone. He was a good guy and funny though. Of course for Kristin, also like a brother and friend to her, she was always so nice, I don't know how she put up with us and how chaotic we were
