So, for this chapter, I'm going to switch over to Reign's POV at one point. I want Hiccup to go with the group he does in the episode so that he can get captured, but I think it's important to show the conversation between Dagur, (Reign), and Heather that happens.

Also, minor thing, but why does Chicken's gender keep changing?

Voices greeted me as Toothless and I landed at the clubhouse, shouts of triumph and defeat equally as loud. My dragon and I had just finished our morning training session, and had built up an appetite as a result. Clearly, we had missed breakfast—a fact evident by the scene in front of me: Reign and Heather were sat opposite each other, a Maces and Talons board between them. Whatever had just happened, Reign was smirking at her sister, cheered on by Astrid, while her sister and Fishlegs sighed, likely defeated.

I had yet to see Reign lose a game of Maces and Talons in her life.

"Well, well, well, look what the Night Fury dragged in." Astrid's voice drew Reign's attention over in my direction; the moment her eyes fell over me, her expression twisted into a concerned frown.

"Very funny," I laughed bitterly, rolling my eyes at her.

"Seriously, babe, you've been pushing it pretty hard lately." Any sympathy Reign could have held in her voice had completely evaporated, leaving only harsh critique. "Everyone needs rest."

"Right." Her eyes darkened when I brushed off her words. "I'll rest when Viggo is gone for good."

She opened her mouth to make another argument, frightening me slightly. We'd had little arguments over this the past couple of mornings, and they'd get resolved by the afternoon, then by the evening, my mind would be back on training and defeating Viggo, and the cycle would repeat itself over again. I expected her regular argument about obsessing and needing a way to relax that wasn't spending time with her, when a completely different voice cut through from behind her.

"You wanna hurt Viggo? Talk to me."

All that anger Reign had been building up just melted away as her eyes turned to the entrance behind her. There, leaning against the doorframe, stood none other than Dagur himself, with Shattermaster eagerly chattering behind him. She and her sister gasped, though the latter had a much more hesitant expression.

"Dagur!" Reign cried, her smile practically swallowing her whole face. Her steps toward him practically bounced, and it almost looked like she was going to hug him... but she backed off at the last minute. She probably wasn't ready for that yet.

"I told you I'd be back."

The three siblings just sort of stared at each other a moment, then Reign invited Dagur to have a seat, mumbling about how he must have been hungry from his journey. The two sisters shared a private conversation as they cooked, but whatever decision they had reached never left the two of them. Heather set a plate down in front of her older brother when Fishlegs came back with some rocks for Shattermaster, and Reign handed the extra one to me. Despite the tension of this morning, when I reached out and kissed her, she happily slumped into my embrace.

"This is good," Dagur complimented as he wolfed down the food. "And cooked to perfection. Mm, just the way I like it."

"Thanks." Heather restrained her smile, but I could see it trying to force its way through.
