Written for Martina
She asked if I dreamt, did I dream well?
She asked if I did so a lot, and I faltered not once
For in the blink of an eye, I whispered softly
"How can I not dream, when there's an angel in my life"
She asked what I dreamt of ,so I drew a smile
"I dream of music, angels and so allways, of you as well"
She looked at me thoughtfully and wondered away
I drew out a sigh and sang the silence away
For you I have lived now a lifetime to short
Wrought free from the prison of minds
I lift up the soil as I mend her too sofft
Feels like I'm overtaken by pride
Angel sweet angel where have you been
You were gone for a lifetime thought never to be seen

Angel I missed you, without you 't was grim
Angel I want you to know
For so many years such tears have bought
Nothing but patience and sorrow
Alas the time has come now to say
Angel I...............
She cut me short and put a finger to her lips
Asked for some silence for her to begin
She played guitar now chords I've missed
In my A-capella sonata I'd never enlist
But she wrote with guile and with ease
Those notes found their ways to make my ears feel pleased
As she played and I tagged along
I finally understood
She had written my song
