Real Life Angel #20 : Angel Of A Generation

A thousand suns couldn't shine as bright
As the lights of hope from behind her eyes
Millions of volcanos couldn't ignite that far
As the dreams that she lives for
She's drunk on life
And she won't be sober soon
For this is one state of mind
You will only pass once, once in a blue moon
It brings you thus to the point of no return
Whilst hope flares dreams burn
But that point won't come for her
For she isn't high on life
She was dealt the perfect hand
And she's playing her cards well
Some might think
That she was dealt all the right cards
But that isn't true
She was theoretically dealt the worst hand of all
But she played it so well
It would look perfect to each of us, and us all
I long for the moment I can sit beside her
And take her hand to show her
What is real, and what is fake
Even though I know she understands
I just want to see it with her together one more time
