Real Life Angel #15 : Development
Written for Martina
I look into her eyes
when new emotions dawn
Drafts of perfection
finally taking form
In spur of the moment
I write her a poem
Cite it to her softly
Trying to achieve something once more
I'd taken my time to think it up
Whilst I was lost to her eyes
Caught in the song
Realizing something that had not been there before
As this time the crescent moon reflected light from her eyes
The sudden swill of it
The fastened pace in which I thought
With haste my heart was caught
The notes still swirled and swerved
Music is like magic to no end
Elaborating on perfection
Being flawed can make one perfect
But what if for once
There really are no flaws to be seen?
The world is filled with insecurities
This phial with integrity
