Stony: Please Come To Bed

Steve's POV

I lay in our bed, waiting for Tony to join me. It was past midnight, and I was really tired. I know that Tony is too, but he's too stubborn to listen to his body. My genius boyfriend had been tinkering in his lab since after dinner. He said he'd come to bed as soon as he was done tweaking his helmet...that was hours ago.

"That's it. I'm done waiting." I said throwing off the covers and stomping towards Tony's lab.

I walk into the lab and find Tony at his work table, poking and prodding his helmet with tools. I stand behind Tony and place my hands on his shoulders.

"Holy f**k! Steve, don't startle me like that!" Tony said jumping a little.

"Come to bed." I told him.

"I will as soon as I'm done." Tony replied.

"You said that hours ago. Please come to bed, I'm tired." I said hugging Tony from behind.

"Then just go to bed without me." Tony muttered.

"If I do that, you'll be in here all night. Now get out of that chair and come to bed." I replied.

"Nope." Tony said in a childish tone.

Fed up with Tony's stubbornness, I scoop him up in my arms and start carrying him to our room. The whole way, Tony squirmed and wiggled, trying to escape.

"D*mn it, Steve, put me down!" Tony demanded.

"Okay." I said entering our room.

I drop him onto our bed and he glares at me.

"This is not what I meant." Tony said pouting.

"There's nothing you can do to make me stay in this bed." he said folding his arms across his chest.

I grab my boyfriend's face and firmly kiss his lips.

"....okay, I'll stay." Tony giggled pulling me onto the bed.

We settle under the covers and I hold Tony to my chest. I feel the scratchiness of his beard as he kisses my neck.

"Sorry I was being a whiny b**ch." Tony mumbled with a slight yawn.

"It's alright, hun, we're both just tired. Let's go to sleep." I said kissing his head.

We fall asleep in each other's arms and sleep peacefully. In the morning, I let Tony get some extra sleep in, he always working so hard, he deserves a break.
