4 - Confrontation

It had been three days since you talked to Kazuki, he escorted you back to the village but said his goodbyes before stepping too close to it. Understandable, if what he said was true. You had taken the days to recover from your injuries. Of course you didn't tell anybody who the mysterious savior of yours was. (Cause you're not a snitch🙄)

Today was the day you were going to ask Tsunade about your clan. You were going to see her anyways since she wanted to know everything about your savior, she was worried about what had happened. Your plan was to try and change the subject to confront her about the claims Kazuki made. Sure she would just be able to deny the information you had, maybe she would call you crazy, you really hoped she would.

You slowly walked up to the Hokage's office, you were afraid but at the same time you thought you were stupid and this all had a reasonable explanation.

You finally arrived at the door. Two knocks. "Come in." A deep breath and you opened the door.

With a surprised look in her face, the blonde woman said: "Y/N, I'm glad to see you're okay. Mind telling me who this stranger who saved you is, did he tell you anything?" You shook your head. "If it's okay with you, I'd like to talk about this in a minute, I'm also here because of something else, it's complicated but I just want you to tell me if what I'm going to say is true or not." She tilted her head to the side, a worried look on her face, then nodded, signaling you to keep speaking.

"Is it true that..." You hesitated, why were you so scared, it couldn't be true. You were about to just stop but then gained the courage to go on. "Is it true that the L/N clan was almost completely wiped out by a group of conspirators?" "What are you talking about?" Tsunade said quietly. Haha she probably thinks I'm actually crazy now. You thought. You were kind of relieved.

"No, it's just this rumor I've heard about some crazy official who led the whole thing. They thought we were devils or something. It's a crazy thing to say, I'm sorry, haha. Please forget about it, maybe we should talk about the guy who saved me tomorrow if that's alright with you." You just wanted to get out of this awkward situation as soon as possible.

You were about to say goodbye when Tsunade turned to Shizune and whispered something. Shizune nodded and disappeared. "Y/N.. Who told you about this, was it that guy?" "Ahh.. It's not important, it's just some stupid fairytale anyway.. right?" You answered. Tsunade just looked at you, no expression on her face. "Very well, you can leave now." She said calmly, but you could here the slight hint of worry in her voice. You bowed, turned around and opened the door.

You were greeted by a group of Anbu, you tried to take a step back but two of them grabbed you by the arms and restrained you so you couldn't move anymore. What was going on? You tried to struggle but there were just too many of them, you didn't stand a chance. What was going to happen to you now?

You tried to scream as your body grew more tired from the  struggle with the Anbu. Dammit, how did it come to this? Is everything Kazuki said true, is that why they were treating you like this now? But... Konoha would never... Maybe the Konoha you thought you knew never existed to begin with. You wish you could just turn back time and never agree to go to the mission that led to all this.
You managed to get a glimpse of one of the Anbu, you looked at him, pleading for help.
To your surprise he actually started talking to you. "Look kid, this is way too complicated for you to understand. You should've just kept your mouth shut and f- guahh" The guy started spitting out blood, then you saw it, a sword entering his back and coming out of his stomach. "WATCH OUT!!" The Anbu started calling out to each other but one by one fell to the ground, lying in a pool of their own and their comerads blood.

An attack by an enemie of Konoha? But why now? You never would've thought the situation you were in could get any worse. Now you wouldn't be imprisoned, you would be killed. You wanted to run but your body felt numb. The Anbu must've done something to you earlier. You tried screaming for Tsunade but there was no sound. You couldn't see the attacker either. This was it. You never would've thought your life would end like this.

You felt something, wrapping around your body. It was a big snake. A snake? Now the snake was moving away, dragging you with it. You could here a deep voice. "Hahaha.. Finally, I've waited for this moment, don't worry, I won't kill you. After all, I have big plans for you."

You tried to look up but you could only see a pair of glowing yellow snake-like eyes before you lost consciousness (again).
