"I can't tell if I like him, or want to punch him in the throat."

Days passed, and everything had been off the rails. At least it had for everyone around me.

My brothers had been making a plan to kill Klaus—a plan I had no doubt was idiotic. I didn't need to know the details to know that. After all it was made by my brothers Damon and Stefan were the worst at plotting murder.

I'd decided that they could execute their plan that would inevitably fail, and I'd try to figure out how to kill the hybrid all on my own. The only one I could rely on to do my dirty work was myself, after all.

And I was oh, so good at it.

Said immortal hybrid had texted me once or twice threatening to tear out my liver, make my life a living hell, etc. etc. He really should get more creative with his threats.

After about the seventeenth text, I had decided to use it to my advantage, finding an app online that could track his location, and I found out that he was in Prague—meaning he was far, far away from me. Just how I liked it.

I hadn't shared my knowledge of his location with anyone. Especially not my brothers. They'd probably run after the guy and get themselves thrown into the ocean or something.

Caroline had briefly explained what the plan to kill Klaus was, involving his father and a bit of white oak. Though, she'd conveniently forgotten to tell me when the plan was taking place. Meaning I had no idea how to stay as far away from there as possible when it inevitably all went south.

I loved my brothers dearly and was willing to do anything for them. But when it came to stunts involving their thinking skills...I didn't have much confidence.

I had spent most of my days helping Caroline with her various projects, such as the looming homecoming dance I was being forced to attend, along with helping set up and clean up. The blonde vampire had dragged me out of bed that morning and practically bullied me into going to the school to do the streamers.

She had carpooled with me back to the house and we'd gotten ready together, Caroline's idea of course. Not that I minded. We had ended up blasting music so loud I could hear Damon's screams of irritation from across the house.

She had ended up in a shorter pink dress, curling her hair into loose waves and tightening them to her head a fraction. She truly looked like barbie doll then. In a good way .

Caroline then proceeded to grin as she pulled out a homecoming dress for me that she'd bought a few weeks ago without my knowledge. I had raised a brow at her as she looked like a madman unwrapping it from its packaging.
