Hey guys! I hope you enjoy this chapter! I'll update soon bye! ☺️👋

Tris Prior's Point of View

I silently pull load my gun, the sound is barely audible. It's dark, but I'm still able to see furniture. It's quiet, it's way too quiet. Like last time. They must know we are here.

Four and the others, except Hector and Toby, will enter through the back. I'll stall Jeanine with a deal, while the others silently take the soldiers out. Then, I'll get Jeanine myself.

It sounds like a plan that can work, but it could go wrong. I could get shot at sight, the others may get captured, then, we'll all be dead.

I push the cons out of the way, and focus on the plan. I step into the wide hall, making sure to check each door, yet there's no one in the rooms. This doesn't seem right.

But, then I hear his voice causing my anger to boil. Ace. "Put your hands up!" He yells out, I automatically drop the gun on cue and slowly turn around, Ace stands with two guards behind him. They have guns on me, ready to shoot me if I move an inch.

He takes out a walkie talkie, "Jeanine, we have the girl." He speaks.

"Good, bring her to me." She commands, yet her voice sounds shaky. She's afraid. She should be.

The plan is working. The guards grip my arms and pull me through several rooms. Left. Right. Left. Left.

I step into a room, where Jeanine stands, her blond hair is longer then before, reaching her shoulders. "Hello Tris." She greets.

"Hello."

She narrows her beady eyes at me before she speaks, "You're here to kill me aren't you?"

"I'm here to chat." I say, she clicks her nails against the table. As if she's considering to listen to me.

"About?"

"I have a cure in me right?"

"Yes. Since you are Divergent, you might have a cure located in your brain." She tells me.

"I might?" I repeat, she nods her head. " So you don't have proof."

She smiles tightly at me. "You're a smart girl Ms. Prior." She pauses, " I don't have proof, yet, I'm positive that you have the cure."

"So I'm your Guinea pig." I add. She purses her lips.

"Are you going to take the chance to save half of the population Prior? Or will you be selfish?" Her words cause a sting in my gut. But I must know she's lying.

Before I can respond, a first gunshot is fired. She glares at me with hatred. "Take her to the lab."

Before I can say anything, a needle get jabbed into my neck. And I black out.

Four Eaton's Point of View

"I've been shot!" Lynn shouts out, I turn my head to see her leaning against the wall, her hand clutching her stomach.

"Lynn!" Shauna shouts out, rushing to her. But that's when a bullet hits her.

She falls instantly, hitting the floor.

"Oh my god," I murmur, Lynn breaks into tears.

"No! Noo!" Christina yells, tears streaming down her face.

"Cover me." I state, my voice in stutter. I pace over to the lifeless girl, she's dead. Lynn crawls over to me. I take her hand. "We're going to help you Ly-"

"No. No." She says, tears gleaming in her terrified eyes. "Take good care of my little brother Four, take care of the family."

I grip her sweaty hand tighter, my vision turning blurry. Lynn, the girl who always teased no matter what the problem, smiles slightly.

"What a shitty way to die huh?"

I chuckle, but it's sounds like a choked sob. Lynn was like a sister to me. "Hector needs you Lynn. We all need you," I retort. She shakes her head.

"Hector is a preteen, he's going to be fine. As for you guys-" She pauses to cough, the gunfire seemed to grow louder. "You guys will get through this. You guys-"

And that's when she goes, that's when her soul leaves her body. A tear streams down my face. I close her eyes and move her limp body next to Shauna.

I can't stay here. So, I get up and I fight once more.

Unknown POV

Half of them are dead.

Will.

Shauna.

Lynn.

Even Leah.

Sweat drips from my brow as I aim for Tris.

She won't be able to get through it.

I pull the trigger.

She goes down with a thud.

Four will understand.

He will understand that I had to kill Tris Prior.

Four Eaton's Point of View

I grip the collar of Ace's shirt tightly.

"Where is she?" I snarl, he shakes his head.

"I don't know."

I punch him hard, his nose drips fresh blood.

"Where is Tris?" I growl.

"I don't know." He repeats.

"You piece of shit. Tell me now or I'll snap your neck."

"I'm just looking for my family. I didn't want any of this." He sobs. I grunt at his lies.

"You're worthless."

"She's in the lab upstairs. " He whispers, and adds, "Please kill me."

"What?" I scowl, not believing him.

"Kill me please. I can't live under her control anymore." He pauses, "Put the gun in my mouth and pull the trigger."

"I don't under-"

"Kill me!" He shouts. I shakily put the gun on the side of his head and look into his eyes and I see beg lurking in them. I stare at him for a few minutes, and then I pull the trigger.

His soul leaves his eyes in a flash. Why did he want me-

I snap back to reality when I hear footsteps, I turn around to see Christina, with tears stained on her cheeks, and Uriah.

"Do you know where she is?" Christina croaks, I nod.

I lead them upstairs and finally, we find the lab.

I open the door, and I see Tris

on the floor

with a pile of blood around her.
