Set in the 1900s.
"Are you sure we will be alright?" Jennie whispered, hands subconsciously reaching for her weapon belt girded around her hips. Her fingers curled around the gun.
"Of course we will be, darling," Yoongi met her eyes, and then smirked, causing a sense of thrill to flood her veins.
She exhaled, clasping her hands with his and squeezing it for a few seconds, "Right."
Then she let go.
That was the cue.
Everything next was a blur of events. The familiar adrenaline, sense of superiority had devoured Jennie, as she pointed the gun at anyone who posed a threat to her. Following Yoongi who stalked confidently into the bank, finger curled around the trigger, she bit back the smile that came. Once, she would have flinched at the sound of a gunshot, but now she did no longer.
Screams ricocheted off the walls of the bank, the moment Yoongi fired a shot at the guard. It seemed as if that was the trigger tp go frantic, instead of staring at the notorious couple in immense disbelief.
Unheeding, Yoongi and Jennie cornered each banker with a gun to theit foreheads, the well practiced snarl on their faces. Jennie had learnt to tune out the chaos, the screams, the terror happening around her as she demanded money. Red lights flared as someone pressed the alarm, but all that did was spike her excitement.
She grabbed the wad of money from the trembling clerk's hands, gun still pressed against his temple. She turned around - next banker. Except, the next one a gun.
And it was pointed at her.
Jennie smiled at how his hands trembled.
Knocking out the previous guy with the barrel of her gun, she aimed and fired. One shot.
Dead.
His gun clattered to the ground.
Blood.
Chaos.
Alarms.
Without thinking twice, Jennie grabbed the wad of cash and the bloody gun, running towards Yoongi. He didnt question the blood on her outfit, simply grabbing her hand and dashed out of the bank, the red light no longer coating them.
Chaos ensued outside, people fighting with each other to get away from them as Yoongi pulled Jennie determinedly to their car. The general public knew not to mess with them, but the police did not.
With a roar, the faded grey car started, skidding sharply as Yoongi made a sharp U-turn. Jennie relaxed into her seat, watching as people scrambled out of the way, their wails of terror like praises of glory.
Their car jolted forward, as a bang echoed. Her gaze sharpened, the police.
"Bloody bastards," Yoongi cursed, one hand on the wheel and the other immediately on his gun.
Everyone knew the moment Yoongi held a gun, the couple would win.
And that's what happened.
Yoongi looked out of the window, aimed, fired. Shot.
Dead.
Then revved up the engine, and roared out of sight, speeding down the curve.
Jennie breathed loudly, watching as the policeman pause, before blood spurted out onto his uniform as he well. A smile danced on her lips.
Watching his comrades rush to help and a crowd form around the dead man amused her.
A laugh bubbled at her lips as she turned to face Yoongi. Five minutes, and that's all they needed to make another escapade.
With money, and three dead.
"What's so funny, darling?"
His eyes met her cat ones in the mirror, and the brunette glanced at his side profile, only to see his lips tilted up in a smirk.
"You'll see the headlines tomorrow, 'Jennie and Yoongi yet again have a grand escapade."
He gave a deep chuckle, sending tingles up Jennie's hands.
"Think we can grab the newspaper tomorrow?"
"I'm sure one more shot doesn't hurt," she reassured him, leaning forward and giving him a chaste kiss at the side of his lips.
"You bet it doesn't."
Jennie smiled.
Bonnie and Clyde might've died, but their legacy definitely survived.

yuqi's solo debut made me watch a documentary on bonnie & clyde and that made me inspired to write this lol anyway
and for context, bonnie and clyde were a couple and committed many crimes together, and managed to evade the police multiple times, resulting in their notoriety.
