Jungkook felt like crying, laughing, and punching himself at the same time. Who knew, life could get bitchier? First his parents are killed as a warning to deter him from the mafia case, so its his fault. Next his brother hates him as he is reason their parents died. And now? The one person he thought he would be able to rely on, was his enemy. The cause of his shitty life.

Suddenly he felt someone from behind kick her legs, causing him to stagger. The guy immediately grabbed his gun, "Boss- Jennie!"

So that's her name, Jungkook mused as he regained her balance, although a bit too late.

Calling her name seemed to have snapped the lady back into focus. "Catch!" Jennie caught the gun smoothly, and before Jungkook could gather her wits and react, the guy grabbed his arms harshly and pinned them behind his back.

He craned his neck to see around. 8 vs around 20 men. Jimin and Hoseok were already captured and the rest of her squad seemed to be running out of ammo. If there was only a way for him to get rid of the man holding him and aim his sniper.

His squad as well as squad 3 were as good as caught.

Jennis pushed Jungkook’s face to look at her and pressed her cool barrel of the gun onto his forehead, smiling sweetly.

Seeing the situation, Jungkook started panicking. What could he do? All his members were pretty much captured and worse, they were going to be tortured to death. He would have failed to capture his parents' murderer yet again.

He tried to wriggle out from the mans grasp, but he just pushed his hand up higher against his back hard, making him grunt in pain. The barrel of the gun pressed against his forehead harder and he grimaced.

His eyes tried to scan for a way to kick the opponent behind him but he knew he could not. He could kick Jennie though, but that might risk him getting killed as she might press the trigger, accidentally or not.

His eyes widened in realisation. That's exactly what he needed to do.

Jennie saw Jungkook’s eyes widening and smirked, "What, soulmate? Realised you're captured now? Ready to admit defeat?"

Jungkook threw his head back, laughing, causing Jennie to frown, "Don't underestimate me....Jennie," he spat.

He pressed his head into the barrel, giving a confident smirk, "Well then. Kill me." He knew that by doing so, he will cause her soulmate pain. Anyway, whats there to lose? His parents are dead and after Jennie undergoes trial, she will be executed, leaving a gaping void in his heart. Even though he claimed to hate her, fate made him love her by default and thus the pain of the loss of his soulmate would be excruciating, and it would follow him for the rest of her life. Along with the guilt. Guilt that he shouldn't have.

Hence, before he could feel more love involuntarily, he had to kill himself so that Jennie would suffer. It was the best option.

"KOOK NO-" she could hear Jimin yell, only for his cries to be shut by his captor.

Realisation dawned on Jennie, but by then Jungkook effectively kicked her on the knees, making her buckle, causing her finger to close in on the trigger, shooting a bullet through his head.

The sound was glass-shattering and time seemed to slow down as he fell down, her screams of agony breaking Jennie's heart involuntarily as she bent down in pain.

His captor let go of him as blood spurted from his wound and he fell to the ground, breathing heavily for the last few seconds of his life as blood covered his body. His lips curled up at the last second, satisfied.

Jennie dropped the gun and it clattered on the floor. The pain of losing her soulmate unbearable. She hadn't even known the man, heck, he was her enemy, but fate made her love him at first sight. The moment she captured him, she wanted him all for herself.
