"Where's Amara goin'?" Bill chuckled as he passed by Arthur and John.

Amara looked back at the group and turned pale as she noticed them staring at her. She couldn't see Johns expression but she could already guess the look he had on his face.

John got up and started heading towards Amara. She noticed this and practically ran to Trapper. She hopped on the horse. She turned her head and John was almost to her but she left just before he grabbed the reins.

"Amara!" John yelled out to her as she sped out of the camp.

"I just got you back." John whispered to himself as tears stung at his eyes. His heart dropped as ideas rushed into his head of why Amara had left.

Amara turned left on the road to Saint Denis. Trappers heavy breathing had her heart beating a mile a minute. He's never acted this way before. He's trotted slower than usual and won't even eat his favorite snack; sugar cube.

"Don't worry, boy. We're almost there." Amara said to Trapper, gently rubbing his mane.

She trotted up to the stable. Amara was in desperate need of finding out if there was a problem with her horse. There was no time to tell John anything and she didn't need him sending someone to go out with her.

Once in front of the stable, she hopped off the horse and grabbed the reins. She led him into the stable and a worker rushed over to her.

"How you doin'? What you need help with today?" The man asked, sweat dripped from his forehead.

"I think there's something wrong with my horse." Amara explained to the man as he wiped his brow.

He nodded and took the reins from her. "I'll take a look at the ol' boy, just give me a few minutes."

Amara nodded and watched as the man led Trapper and started taking a look at him.

She sat down on a chair and caught her breath. Trapper, her most loyal friend, could have something wrong with him. He is pretty old but he's not that old. He's still young enough to do what he needs to do and at least eat.

Amara pushed her thoughts away as the man walked towards her with an expression that struck fear into her.

"So I ain't to sure what he got, there's not enough symptoms yet but wait a few days and see if anything else comes up. If there's anything, come back here and I can call up a professional." The man explained to Amara. "My names George, by the way."

"Okay, thank you so much George." Amara grabbed Trappers reins and walked out of the stable.

She looked at the horse with a troubled look. All she could do was pray that there was nothing serious going on and he is just a little tired today.
