A week had past and Amara and John had only gotten closer. They still had it kept a secret. Amara was kept with the burden that this relationship wouldn't be able to last much longer but she tried to keep the thought at the back of her mind.

Amara was sitting in Horseshoe Overlook, glancing over at Maisie every couple minutes as she cuddled up with Sean. She turned her page in her book. The wind blew past her, causing the book to go back a few pages.

"Hey, Amara!" John yelled, walking towards her.

"Hi." Amara said, smiling up at him. She closed her book and walked with him to his horse.

"You wanna go fishin' with me?" John asked, checking his satchel for something.

"I don't know how to fish, John." Amara chuckled, stroking the horses mane.

"I can teach you." John suggested, getting into his stirrup.

"Alright, fine." Amara shrugged, going over to her horse.

"Why don't you just get on my horse?" John suggested, patting the saddle.

"Why can't I just take mine?" Amara asked, raising a brow.

"Just get on." John laughed, holding his hand out to Amara.

Amara shook her head and grabbed his arm. He pulled her onto the horse and she hanged her legs on one side of his horse. She turned to wrap her arms around his torso and they rode off.

"Where are we fishing?" Amara asked, resting her head on Johns back.

"I know a river near camp, it's a good spot." John said, turning a path.

Amara nodded and wrapped her arms tighter around John as he jumped over a log and headed down a small hill.

They made it to the river and John hopped off his horse. He helped Amara down and led her to the spot.

"It's very pretty here, would be a nice place to swim." Amara said, watching John as he pulled out a fishing pole. There was a weird look on his face after Amara said that. "You okay?"

"Yeah I just, uh.." John looked over at her and than back at the ground. "I can't swim." John muttered.

"You can't swim?" Amara chuckled, walking over to him.

"It ain't funny."

"I'm not laughing." Amara hid the smile on her face and looked at John who seemed to be waiting for her to laugh.

She couldn't help but chuckle a bit. He looked at her and rolled his eyes.

"Yeah I know, scary outlaw can't swim." John said, crossing his arms and looking over at Amara who had an innocent smile on her face.
