"Rrrrrrrrrrrrrr- Rrrrrrrrrrrr- Rrrrrrrrrr," A siren roared which woke me shock. It was 12:30 am. What the heck was the siren for?
I pulled my phone by the charger and looked up what was happening by Google.
The first results I read, "Monster finding her daughter," "Abusive Mom locating her missing daughter," and "Abusive Mom, Most Wanted,". I pulled up the "Monster finding her daughter" article and skimed it. I turned the TV on and a light.
"Breaking News: An abusive mother breaks out of jail to find her forever family. Her name is Michelle Elizabeth Harnan. She's short, 5'2", 160 pounds, blond hair, dark eyes, age 44 and was last seen 2 weeks ago. Michelle is believed to be looking for her daughter, Ashley Rae Harnan, who's 6'2", dirty blond hair, hazel eyes, 125 pounds and she's 15 years of age, her son, Lucas Charles Harnan, 11 years of age, 4'11", 100 pounds, brown hair, blue eyes, and freckles, and her husband, Christopher James Harnan, who's 5'6", brown hair, blue eyes, 170 pounds," My jaw dropped in shock as the reporter kept talking. I can't be back where I was in Africa, I loved it here and I don't want to be murdered by my own mother. I don't want to be with Luke and Dad in heaven. I love my new parents and they would be upset if I died.
"We just found out that Michelle has posted a video about her daughter," They pulled the video up.
"Hi," My Biological Mom said. "I'm coming over to Italy right now to find my girl. If her 'new' parents have her, please hand her over or you will be suffering as bad as your children were in the bus accident. I've hurt so many people through this, I want her back by noon today, and whatever boy she has, will also be suffering,"
"Ashley!" My other father said, scrambling to my room. "We need to send you and your mother away from your biological mother! Hurry!" He pulled Piper's old suitcase and shoved my clothes in it. I turned off the TV and helped Dad. I then rushed in the bathroom and put my sanitary and hygiene needs in my schoolbag. I pulled my phone, iPad and laptop off their chargers and threw them in a separate bag. I threw my hairbrush in my bag and an outfit.
I then ran the bag into the car and put it on my seat. I rushed back to my room and took my luggages out to the car. Mom did the same thing.
"We need to go, soon!" Mom shouted. Dad was making my bedroom the way it was if Piper walked through.
"Get in the car!" Mom and Dad both demanded. I scrambled in the car and pulled my laptop out. I put Alex on videochat.
"Hey, babe," He said. Alex was in the city.
"Hey, where are you?"
"In London, I was sent there to hide, where are you going?"
"I don't know," I said. "Mom and I are going together," I saw Mom walking to the driver's side.
"I have to go, bye, love you," I waved in the camera.
"I love you too," Alex hung up. I put my laptop away.
"We need to go to the airport," Mom started the car and we left. Dad was waving out the window. I waved and yelled, "Bye, Dad!" and "I'm going to miss you!".
We turned into the airport and parked. I had 4 luggages, and 3 bags. We went through security and then walked around a bit.
"The flight isn't until 3:45," Mom said. "We could probably go get food, where do you want to go?"
"Whatever floats your boat," We went to a popular Itailan Breakfast place that I've never heard of.
We walked in and we were seated.
"Let's do schoolwork," Mom says. SCHOOLWORK? AT 2 O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING!
"Let's wait until we get to our destination," I said.
"Good idea," Mom said. The waiter came with drinks, Mom wanted coffee and I wanted a mocha. That came quick, so did the caffeine in my body. I haven't had a mocha since we lived in California, where I wish to be.
I had eggs, sausage, pancakes and a fruit cup for breakfast. I asked for my mocha to go and it came. We left the restruant and sat down. Mom and I were going to Paris.
I put my hands on the warm coffee to go cup and took my first sip. The warm taste felt so good.
We finally boarded the plane in a single file line. I had to sit next to twin boys while the pilot was explaining the rules. They were being idiots. Total idiots.
As soon as we got to the distance where we could have electronics, I pulled my phone out and FaceTimed Alex.
"Hey," Alex said.
"Ooohhh! Is that your boyfriend?" The twin, Harry, closest to the window said in annoyance.
"Shut up!" I snapped at Harry.
"Are you guys gonna kissy wissy over that FaceTime camera?" The other twin, Andrew said.
"You too!" I disclipined.
I looked at Alex.
"This is what I have to deal with," I smiled. "Andrew and Harry," They waved in the camera.
"Well, I'm sorry," Alex said. "Have fun," He hung up on me. I pulled my laptop out and began typing my English paper for homeschool, which was about why the world is like this. I actually was smarter than I thought I was after I dropped out of High School.
I stopped after I reached paragraph 3 and put the laptop back in my bag. Andrew looked sick and pale.
"Andrew, buddy, you ok?" I asked in a caring tone.
"No," He said, "Too much food," He took my airplane sickness bag and got sick. Everybody was grossed out.
We were landing in 3 minutes. I could see the effiel tower in the distance. We were in Paris. I put my bookbag over my shoulders and watched the plane land on the runway.
"Welcome to Paris!" The pilot said as we were moving around, trying to find a place to unload. We found one on the very end of the terminal.
I ran to be next to Mom.
"Welcome to Paris," Mom said. "We're going on a European Adventure with your relatives. Our first destination is Paris, we're there, to meet your Aunt Francis for 1 week, and she's taking us to Poland to see the Auschwitz Concentration Camp, then we're going to Amsterdam, Madrid, London, Stockholm, Budapest and back to Paris."
"We're also staying in really nice hotels on our journey," Mom said as she led me into the taxi and shut the car door. I could smell the leather from the seat. Must be a new car.
Off we go out of the airport.
