Her Demonic Allure

After the battle, we had Cal and Ash carry Lara and Zena. Amelia had transformed back into her human form, so Ajax offered his cape to cover her. She thanked him and tripped, so he caught her. Ajax then elected himself to assist her to the light realm.

My dad helped support my mom while Nyx and I leaned against each other. We slowly walked into the light realm and heard the cheers from the citizens. I smiled as the angel, nymphs, and fairy residents were all together.

We walked to the palace and saw the healers lined up to assist us. Yugi was about to help my mom, but he saw the unconscious woman. He then went to help Zena first (his fav). Nyx and I walked to our room and lied on the bed. We were way too exhausted to even clean ourselves. It didn't take long for some healers to arrive in our room. They even did a cleaning spell, which we were grateful for.

I woke up in Nyx's arms. When did we fall asleep?! I shook Nyx awake and told her we needed to check on the others. She grumbled and pulled me back into her. I giggled and got up again.

After an hour of cuddles, we walked to the conference room. My parents, the royal advisors, Lara, and Amelia were in attendance. They turned and offered us smiles. Nyx and I sat next to my parents and motioned for them to continue.

"Lilitu's chopped body has been sealed away in a tomb. It's located in the light realm and heavily spelled." My mom explained. "There's a key that can unlock the tomb and theoretically release her. To counteract that possibility, we made many fake copies of the keys and distributed them throughout the different realms. Because of that, we have no idea where the real key is hidden."

"Nice thinking, mother... but how do we know someone won't steal the keys." Lara smirked.

"We don't, daughter... but it's a million keys to sort through. You'd then have to try each one on the coffin, which is heavily guarded. Which means... nothing to worry about." She smirked back.

"Why did you agree to be her godmother, your majesty?" Ajax looked incredulous.

"I ask myself that question everyday." My mom rolled her eyes while Lara smirked. "Lena is my dearest friend, so it was only natural that I agree." She smiled.

"Biggest mistake ever." Amelia smirked while Lara pouted.

I chuckled when Amelia began to tease Lara. I rested my head on my dad's shoulder and played with Nyx's fingers. The door soon opened to reveal Acacia and Zena. They sat next to Lara and Amelia, prompting Amelia to speak.

"Adira was telling us what happened to Lilitu." Amelia spoke.

"Yes, Ajax and the guards placed the coffin in a secure vault. The key is also placed in an unknown location." My mom spoke. "Several fake copies of keys were made and distributed throughout the realms. Because of that, no one knows who has the real key, making the location hidden."

"That's good." Zena breathed out. "Any chance of her rising again?"

"One can never be certain, but it's impossible without the key." Nyx spoke. "I think we defeated her for real this time." She smiled.

"Thank God!" I exclaimed. "I can't imagine fighting her again."

"She's gone for good." Lara spoke. "I think it's time for us to return." She looked at her family.

"Yes!" My mom stood. "Thank you all for your help."

We got up and gave Zena and Acacia hugs. Zena and I swayed from side to side while laughing.

"We're always here for you." Nyx hugged Zena.

"Don't hesitate to ask... and maybe we can all get together again." I giggled.

"And don't forget to visit." Zena hugged us back.

"Thanks." Nyx spoke to Acacia.

"Anytime, demonic one." Acacia teased and hugged Nyx.

"Alrighty, elfy." Nyx snickered.

We then thanked Amelia and Lara for their efforts. Lara smiled and offered us hugs in return. It was funny to see how different Lara was when she wasn't threatening or killing people. She's actually kinda funny and SO SO HOT! I think Lara could detect my emotions since she smirked. Amelia growled a warning at me while Nyx glared. I blushed and awkwardly chuckled.

We walked everyone to the barrier (that was now in tack and not changing anymore) and waved goodbye. I overheard Ajax and my mom speaking about Kiki. I think they wanted to send someone to check on her, so they elected Ash. Ash groaned, but quickly agreed to search for her. Nyx mock saluted him while I waved bye to the angel. He rolled his eyes and stomped over to us. Why was he- DID ASH JUST HUG ME?!

"I'll miss you. Try not to get into too much trouble." He smirked and then launched into the sky. My mouth was agape and I stood there stunned.

"Told you he likes you." Nyx nudged me.

Nyx then took my hand and flew me to the cave by the waterfall. We cuddled on the illuminated plants. I've never felt so at peace before. Lilitu was gone, my mom and dad were reunited, and I'm in the arms of the person I love most in the world. I never thought my life would radically change a few years ago, yet here I am with my mate.

"You made this all worth it, my angelic demon." I squeezed Nyx tighter.

"And I love you, my demonic angel." Nyx kissed me.

The End

PLOT TWIST: The demonic angel is actually Ken, not Nyx. I'm actually quite satisfied with that twist. I also want to note that Nyx now completely sees Ken as an angel and not a little human anymore. Talk about growth... get it Ken!
