ꜰʀɪᴇɴᴅꜱ - ʙᴛꜱ

"Mark please just calm down" you chuckled walking backwards away from him down the hallway with your hands raised in defense .

Mark had decided he was over not being able to touch his best friend for the last month and was now nagging you after one of your classes.

"C'mon dude it'll literally take 5 seconds and we'll know , it's not a big deal" he said walking after you slightly faster .

The hallway has slowly start filling up , the added stress of now having to avoid touching any strangers and Mark was starting to become overwhelming.

With Mark increasing his speed and it getting more crowded you knew today was the day you had been dreading.

"What's the worse that would happen A ?" Mark pouted , "my moms always joked that we'd be soulmates" he said and you were trying your hardest to not laugh.

Whenever you heard those words leave Mrs Lee's lips you had internally hope they were true , after all the symbol under your ear was a moon and Mark's was a star , that meant it was possible . There were cases of soulmates having symbols that has something to do with the others like how the stars and moon were always in the sky together .

But what if we're not

Was the thought that consumed your mind  , what if the boy you had feelings for , for all these years was destined to be with someone else . It would mean instant heart break .. and that's when you decided by whatever means necessary you could not let Mark Lee touch you.

This fueled you to navigate through the mass of students faster quickly escaping the building . Now free of the confident of the hallway you chose to turn and rather run to get away from the boy faster.

Mark didn't expect you to start bolting once you were outside but he quickly closed the gap that had momentarily formed between you two.

"Aera , c'mon dude" Mark yelled , you kept turning your head to see how far he was .

He was slowly getting closer and you were slowly getting more and more tired .

Then it dawned on you, what if he touched her now , what if Mark bumped into his soulmate chasing you , then all of this was in vain .

All the time wasted all for your heart to still be broken , and with that thought you took one final look at Mark ,who was even closer , and started slowing down .

Mark's eyes widened in realization , but it was too late for him to stop.

He practically ran into you at full speed , his hand holding onto your arms in attempts to protect you while also stopping himself .

You stumbled back due to the sheer force of your , heavy, best friend when you felt your back hit into someone else . The persons arms wrapped around you ,and Mark, in attempts to stop the impact .

The three of you eventually came to a stop now having attracted the attention of 80% of the students who were outside .

"Yah Lee Mark what the hell" you yelled at the boy before turning to apologize to the innocent third part.

A taller boy , dressed in all black which only seemed to enhance his honey skin, looked down at you with an all too unimpressed look, both you and Mark still attached to him .

"I'm sorr-"
"Lee Donghyuck" Mark spoke interrupting you,
"What the hell is wrong with -" the guy started saying.

You were all cut off by a searing pain on your right inner wrist and a blinding golden light.

No way , no , not a random stranger .

You heart slowly began cracking realizing that what you feared most might become a reality.

You slowly looked down at your wrist that had stopped burning only to gasp as you took in the name written on it .
