After hiding in Jaemin's room for all of 15 minutes she slowly crept out and scurried behind Jaemin using him as a protective shield until you explained that you were actually beyond happy for them , to which Cho almost started crying and Jaemin just responded with his iconic "sexy~".
"I haven't seen you that wasted since high school" you burst out laughing as Areum hid her face in Jeno's chest that was also rising and falling rhythmically as he laughed along as well.
The cute gestures between the two "couples" next to you brought you immense joy because seeing some of the most important people in your life - Nana included- so extremely happy is everything you could ever want.
It did however remind you very much of your own situation not only with Mark but Haechan as well. How could you have double the amount of soulmates a normal person has and still feel so alone and single .
Soulmates weren't guaranteed to work , you'd heard countless stories of people who simply used soulmates for healing and to stay alive without any physical attraction and you'd heard plenty of stories of people taking years to finally fall in love with their soulmates but for some reason you wished that wouldn't be your case.
"YOU CHEATED ON ME" you all heard a muffled yell erupt from Haechan's room causing everyone to fall silent . You instantly felt bad for him knowing what had happened with Soojin a few weeks prior. "Maybe we should put some music on," you said, hoping it would cover up the shouting .
"YOU'RE THE ONE WHO KEEPS BRINGING THAT SLUT AROUND EVERYWHERE" a yell sounded evidently from Soojin you assumed . Everyone shot you sympathetic smiles which you just ignored immediately putting on some music through a speaker and turning the volume up much louder than it needed to be.
Almost on cue Haechan walked out , heat physically radiating off his body . He took one look at everyone's positions on the couch before his eyes landed on you softening .
"Let's go" he grabbed his keys, "she doesn't have to leave just because you're arguing with your girlfriend I can take her home" Jaemin spoke up . You stood weighing your options.
Haechan stopped walking and turned to look at you raising a brow , "it's okay Nana , I'll see you guys another time" you said quickly hugging everyone and then walking after Haechan who had already started making his way to the elevator.
"Uhm are you okay ?" You asked as you stepped into the elevator. Haechan sighed heavily before turning to face you , "I'm fine Aera." You simply nodded not wanting to push it any further.
