"Your parents are really nice." Rapunzel held Merida's hand and with the other she held a thin cup she's been drinking as they walked down the long hallway to her old room. They had refurnished it before she came, since she was no longer a baby.
"So are yours." Merida replied sweetly.
"I'm supposed to spend the day with my mother tomorrow, but i don't know anything about her. What if we're nothing alike?"
"I'm sure you'll be fine. I think ma mum may want to spend time with you as well, to see what you're like."
"Your mother too? Oh man." She raised a hand to her forehead. "What if i mess everything up?"
"Punz, do you know who you're talking to? Okay, i don't think i ever told you this, but before i left to travel ma mum and i got into a huge arguement. I was so mad at her that i used magic to turn her into a bear, i didn't know that's what'd happen, i just wanted her to see things my way for once. Well then we fought this evil bear and bonded and she turned back to normal. She finally loosened up after that."
"Really?" Rapunzel asked, looking slightly stunned.
"Yeah." Merida smirked. "So if you screw up bigger than that, that'd be pretty impressive."
Rapunzel turned back to the hallway and nibbled on her lip nervously until they reached her room. "You'll be fine Punz." She spoke softly and kissed her as she turned the door knob.
Rapunzel smiled. "You're right. I worry too much." They walked in and Merida walking behind the vanity screen to change. Rapunzel stumbled around, found a lamp and lit it. She took another sip from her cup and plopped onto the bed with a thud.
"Are you okay?" Merdia asked, walking from behind the screen.
"I'm.." She hiccuped, "wonderful." She hiccuped again. Standing, she set down her drink, clutched onto Merida's nightgown and pulled her close. There was a faint blush across Rapunzel's face.
"Punz?" Merida said, concerned.
"Mmhmm?" She hummed.
"Are you sure you're okay?" She asked, placing her hand on Rapunzel's face. "You're getting warm."
"I'm just fiiine." She sang with closed eyes. As she spoke her hands slid down Merida's sides and around her waist.
Merida looked down and back up to Rapunzel, confused. She tried to pull Merida onto the bed and knocked over her cup.
"What've you been drinking?" Merida asked and Rapunzel shrugged. She picked up the cup and sniffed it. "Rapunzel, this is wine. You're wasted."
"Oops." She slurred. "Come ooon." She pulled on Merida's nightgown impatiently and fell back in an alluring position. Merida picked her up and laid her in bed. "Don't you want me?" She whined sounding hurt, tugging her arm.
"Not if you're like this." She said pulling Rapunzel's dress off and slipping a nightgown over her head. She laid the blanket over her and kissed her forehead, "Go to sleep now. You're gonna feel like shit in the morning." She turned out the gas lamp and crawled into the other side of the bed.
In the early morning Merida woke up to the sound of bare feet scampering on the cold floor. She crawled out of bed and walked outside onto the small terrace, "Punz?" She rubbed her eye as looked over, Rapunzel was vomiting under a tall bush. Merida held her hair back and rubbed her back, "feel better?"
Rapunzel nodded and held her head, "my head feels terrible.
"I know. You have a bit of the Irish flu. I think you grabbed the wrong cup last night."
"Ugh. I thought it was juice. My stomach is in knots."
"You'll feel better when you finish hurlin'."
"The last thing I remember is lighting a lamp and falling onto the bed. I don't even remember changing."
Merida started to feel awkward, "Because you didn't. I changed you."
Rapunzel's face turned bright red. "What else happened?" She asked timidly.
"Uh." She cleared her throat, "Well, you uh. You pulled me down, and tried to seduce me."
Rapunzel's eyes widened and her face glowed a dark red hue. "Really?" Her voice cracked. "Uh, did we do anything?"
"No. I didn't want our first time to be because you were drunk." Merida replied.
"..You aren't like, mad at me or anything right?"
"What?" Merida looked at her, "No, it wasn't your fault." She held her hand, "It'll happen in time, on purpose." They smiled together. "Let's go eat some breakfast, if you think you feel better now wait until you sink your teeth into a coffee soaked biscotti.
