The girls got into bed and Merida fell fast asleep. Rapunzel rolled over and looked at her. 'She looks so... Cute, when she's asleep' She thought. Merida rolled over and snuggled up to her. Rapunzel blushed and tried to move away but was stuck. She smiled shyly, put her arms around her and drifted to sleep.

Rapunzel woke up alone. She sat up and rubbed her eyes, 'I wonder where Merida went.' she thought. Getting up and stretching she sniffed the sweet air and her mouth watered. She stumbled down the stairs and stopped. Merida had her hair pulled back in a messy bun, an apron tied tight around her waist and had splattered bits of pancake batter and egg on her face; She pranced back and forth from the kitchen to the table. Rapunzel giggled, "What's all this?" She asked looking at the huge breakfast buffet her new friend laid out.

Merida looked up, "Oh, I thought since you're letting me stay here then the least i could do is make breakfast and clean up some." she smiled and pulled out a chair for Rapunzel and then sat next to her.

"Thank you!" Rapunzel exclaimed and sat down. After they finished their food and cleaned up the mess, they sat in her window seat and watched the birds.

"So what do you like to do for fun up here?" Merida asked, boredly.

"Well, I clean, read, make dresses, and dance and sing, brush my hair..." She counted on her fingers, "What about you?" she asked looking at Merida.

"Uh, well i like sword fighting, riding my horse Angus, playing with my little brothers and archery." She answered, looking over at Rapunzel.

"What's archery?" Rapunzel asked sounding curious.

Merida raised an eyebrow, "You don't know what archery is?" she said half yelling, dumbfounded.

"No, is it any fun?" Rapunzel asked leaning forward and propped herself up on her hands.

Merida looked out the window, "Hmm.." She got up and rummaged through her bag. Rapunzel watched her while she looked for something; she walked back over to her and tied a rope to a hook on the wall and then to herself. She tugged on the rope and then squatted half on the window seat-half on the outside wall. "Do you trust me?" She asked, grinning at Rapunzel and held out her hand.

She looked at her slightly confused and replied, "Yes..?" and grabbed Merida's hand. Merida pulled her close.

"Hold on tight." Merida said as they rappelled down the tower. Rapunzel gasped and ran around.

"This is amazing!" She yelled. "I've never been outside before!" She rolled around in the grass.

Merida chuckled and pulled her up, "That's great, but i brought you down here to teach you archery."

"Ooh! Okay!" Rapunzel shouted and hugged her. Merida showed her how to make targets, and then how to fire an arrow.

"You're a natural!" Merida said pulling the arrows out of the targets.

Rapunzel squealed, "You were right! That was so much fun!"

"I'm glad you liked it."Merida said, smiling and packing up her equipment. "What do you want to do now?"

"Hm, what about swimming!" Rapunzel said jumping up and down.

"Uhm.. Sure." Merida replied and turned to her horse to straighten her saddlebag. "I get to see her in her bloomers?" she mumbled and blushed.

"What'd ya say?" Rapunzel asked, popping up behind her. Merida turned around a her mouth dropped; Rapunzel was in her drawers and a corset.

"Uhm.." Merida cleared her throat and tried to hide that her face was bright red. "Nothing! I-i said i was just gonna change.." Merida scurried behind her horse. "Go ahead without me!"

"Okaay, if you say so." Rapunzel said and jumped into the pool of water below the waterfall.
