Merida undressed and laid her dress on Angus's back. She sighed and grabbed her hair in nervousness. "I guess should just get it over with.." she said and walked around the horse, slipping into the pool slowly while Rapunzel played in the waterfall. She hid behind a lily pad and swam over to her. 'She looks so pretty under the water..' Merida thought.
Rapunzel turned around and bumped into her. "Oops, I'm sorry!" she said flustered. "Why are you hiding?" she asked, lifting up a section of the pad.
Merida coughed, "I-i was.. Uh.. Trying to.. Surprise you..Yeah.. That's it!" She answered nervously and tried to laugh. Rapunzel giggled and looked up. She climbed up a large boulder and Merida followed.
"Watch this!" Rapunzel exclaimed and dived into the water. Merida clapped and waited for her to come back up. Bubbles formed at the top of the water. "..Rapunzel?" Merida said, worried. "Rapunzel!?" Merida jumped in after her and grabbed her. She tried to pull her up but she was stuck. Looking around, she noticed Rapunzel's hair was wrapped around a root. She pulled and pulled until it finally snapped and then dragged Rapunzel to shore. "Rapunzel?" She said shaking her lightly as tears rolled down her face. She laid her head on Rapunzel's chest. 'Not breathing.. Damn it.' She thought. Merida ripped open Rapunzel's corset and gave her cpr. Rapunzel started coughing up water, "..M..Merida?" she said in a whispered tone.
"Shh." Merida replied, "You got caught underwater" she said, picking her up and walking toward the tower.
Rapunzel placed her hand on Merida's cheek. "..Were you.. crying?" She asked.
"..I thought.. That. I might lose you" Merida said and set her down gently on her feet. "Think you can hold on?"
"Yeah.." Rapunzel said as she climbed on merida's back and they climbed up the rope. Merida undressed Rapunzel and clothed her in dry undergarments and a nightgown; then changed herself. She picked up rapunzel and carried her to bed.
"You'll need your rest." She said and started to walk away when Rapunzel grabbed her arm and pulled her down. "Whaaaa!" Merida yelled as she tumbled onto the bed; She looked up, "Wh-Wha.." she tried to speak but was too embarrassed.
"Stay.. With me." Rapunzel looked at her with big eyes.
"I-i have to.. get our things." She said, trying to slip away.
"No.. Stay with me! Please..?" Rapunzel cried out, grabbing Merida's sleeve tight.
"..O-okay. I'll ..stay." Merida comforted her and laid down.
