When they finished the pie, Merida helped her wash the dishes and put them away. "So, where are you from, Merida?" Rapunzel asked, lighting the fireplace.
"Scotland." Merida told her and warmed her hands in front of the fire.
"Ooh!" Rapunzel cooed, "Is it pretty there? What's it like?" She asked, curling up with a pillow she made.
"Oh, it's gorgeous!" Merida sighed and layed back against the wall. She tells Rapunzel all about her home and the adventures she'd go on.
"It sound spectacular!" Rapunzel exclaimed, "What brought you here?"
"Well, after a while i got bored and decided to go out and travel the world." She responded, twirling a lock of her hair around her finger.
"What about love?" Rapunzel asked, looking up at her.
"Love? What about it?" Merida said blushing.
"Yeah, don't you have someone you love?" Rapunzel asked.
"Well.. Not really. I haven't really looked for anyone.." Merida said, tugging at her hair.
"Really?" Rapunzel said sadly, "But everyone should have someone to love."
"Do you?" Merida retorted.
Rapunzel looked down, "No.."
"Why not?" Merida questioned, wondering who wouldn't want to be with her.
"I'm in a tower. You're the first visitor i've ever had." She said, laying her head down.
Merida felt bad for asking. "Oh, I'm sorry." She said, hugging her knees.
"It's okay." Rapunzel smiled, "I'll find someone someday." She got up and dug around in her wardrobe.
"What're you doing?" Merida asked standing up and walking over to her.
"I'm getting you're nightgown!" She said popping up.
"Oh, thanks. Where am i sleeping?" Merida asked stepping behind Rapunzels vanity screen.
"You can sleep with me in my bed." Rapunzel said, changing on the other side of her screen.
Merida fell over at the news. "W-with you?" She stuttered, "W-wouldn't that be weird?"
"Why? We're both girls. It'll be fine." Rapunzel said, looking around the corner of the screen and giggled when Merida blushed. "Come on." She waved her hand and led Merida up the stairs to her bed.
