"Merida." Rapunzel laid her hand on Merida's face. A lock of hair fell over her face, her eyes widened as she laid Merida down and scrambled to grab as much of her hair as possible. She wrapped it around Merida's waist and started to sing.
"Flower gleam and glow
Let your power shine
Make the clock reverse, bring back what once was mine
Heal what has been hurt, change the fate's design
Save what has been lost, bring back what once was mine
What once was mine"
Her hair stopped glowing when the song ended and she leaned over Merida's face.
"..Merida?" She shook her lightly, "Merida!" She slicked her hair back. "Fragolina.." She whispered, leaning forward and kissed Merida on the lips, and then searched her face for a sign of life. She didn't see any and laid her head down on Merida's chest and started to cry.
Kris took off his hat and they all slowly lowered their heads. The only sound in the room was Rapunzel's sobbing.
A small hand slowly pushed back the hair from Rapunzel's face and wiped at her tears.
"Don't cry Bonnie."
Rapunzel slowly opened her eyes to see that Merida was leaning her head up with a crooked smile.
"Merida!" She lunged forward and hugged her as tight as she could.
"Okay! I love you too! But I can't breathe sweetie!" She patted her back.
"Don't you scare me like that!" Rapunzel slapped Merida's shoulder.
"I'm sorry-"
Rapunzel kissed her and held her shoulders tightly. "I was so worried."
Merida sat up and hugged her. "I'm okay Punz. Promise." She smiled and the cousins helped them up.
"So. I guess it's time to plan your wedding!" Ana chirped. "Need any help?" She liked Rapunzel's side.
"Sure, but not today." She hugged her with one arm and they carried Merida off to the bedroom.
As they laid her down and tucked her in she objected, "Guys, I'm fine really."
"You need rest." Elsa told her and shooed the others out.
Rapunzel climbed into bed next to her and laid her head on Merida's shoulder. "I'm sorry." She said and held Merida's hand.
"For what?" Merida asked.
"For the past couple days."
"It wasn't your fault Bonnie." She kissed her forehead.
"I know. But still."
"It's okay Punz." Merida stroked her hair. They laid in bed the rest of the day, talking and cuddling. At dinner time Ana and Elsa brought them some tomato soup and melted cheese on bread.
"Here you go. We thought you could eat in bed." Ana put the trays on the bedside table.
"Thank you guys." Rapunzel said and sat a tray on her lap.
"We'll leave you two alone." They sang and giggled out the door.
Rapunzel spooned some soup, blew on it and aimed it at Merida's mouth.
"I can feed maself ya know?"
Rapunzel stuck out her bottom lip and Merida gave in, "Oh alright." And opened her mouth.
Rapunzel fed her dinner and then ate her own.
After dinner Merida pulled Rapunzel close and they fell asleep together.
