POV: Sienna

I can't believe he was really going to make me drink all this blood. I wasn't an insane cannibal like him! I can just drink all this and not be completely repulsed. He handed me the first blood bag and I opened it. I smelled it, and then squeezed my eyes together and made the same face as I would've if I walked into a smelly, used, roach-infested porta potty.

"Come on, it's not that bad. Just think of it like wine and don't smell it." He said in a casual tone and I rolled my eyes. Now he tries to help? If he was trying to be nice he was way too late.

"I don't like wine...and even if I did, I'm only eighteen." His jaw dropped.

"Are you even human? Who doesn't like wine?"
I ignored his question and took a quick sip. It tasted like pure copper and when I swallowed nothing healed. I gagged and tried to pull myself together. "Ew" I looked up and Kai had backed up to the other end of the room and was looking at me like I was a disgusting monster with three heads.

"Give me the next one." I didn't have the energy to deal with his dramatics. I wanted to get this over with as soon as possible.

"Okay princess.." he said in a mocking tone. He took a deep breath and handed me the next one. Again there was the stench of a disgusting porta-potty and the taste of copper. This cycle continued for about another ten minutes. Sniff, taste, gag, repeat. By the time I finally tasted the vampire blood there were at least fifteen blood bags on the floor in front of me. I chugged down the vampire blood, too focused on my healing wounds and growing strength to care about the copper taste.

From the corner of my eye, I saw Kai softly smiling at me. And at that moment I really wished he wasn't a psych- sociopath. The way his face lit up as he saw me desperately drinking the blood was- cute in a creepy way. I finished the blood bag and looked at him.

The second he saw me look over his face went back to the emotionless mask he always wore. And just as fast as his emotions disappeared, so did the unwanted trance his smile had put me under. I stood up and stretched "wow.." I looked at my long, skinny, fingers and smiled when seeing that they were back to normal.

"Everything intact Ms.Bennet?" He asked in a formal tone, clearly trying to joke around. However, my smile faded when I heard his voice. It sent a chill down my spine and memories from the past couple of days came flooding back.

"Let's just go..." We walked back to the car and I was surprised he was silent all the way there. He got in the driver's seat and I got in the passengers' seat; although, I would've felt a lot safer if I was driving. When he turned on the car the same Green Day song started playing and I immediately turned it off. "NO. NO MORE GREEN DAY." I realized then that I had screamed and completely taken off the music without asking him. I scooched nervously away from him. He looked at me and for the first time ever his face exposed a small hint of remorse.

"Hey-" Kai turned to me although he was driving.
"I'm not gonna hurt you.." he put his hand on mine and tried acting sorry. He was failing miserably. I couldn't believe after everything he was actually trying to be my friend- or even any form of an ally. I pulled my hand away quickly and it was my turn to look at him like he was a monster with three heads.

"Are you insane?!" He pulled his hand away

"well-" I cut him off.

"I know you are. Trust me I noticed." All the rage I had been too weak to express before was making itself known now. "Control yourself Sienna...he may need you but he still has a bad temper." I calmed myself down internally. "You can't seriously think I'd be your friend after the hell you put me through." He sighed and it seemed like for the first time ever he was trying to control himself. Almost like a teenager getting told off by their mom for the fifth time about not doing their chores.

"I just thought...since we have to be here together until we plan our escape it might be a good idea to not completely hate each other. But whatever clearly you rather I be evil. So fine, easier for me anyway." He rolled his eyes and parked back at the house.

POV: Kai

I got off the car aggressively. This is exactly why I'm never nice to people; you try to be a good person and they become the evil ones. Although- I did torture her, but still. At least I took her to the hospital and fixed her. That had to count for something right?

"Wait!" She yelled after me as I got to the door. I unwillingly turned around and just stared at her, trying to seem as void as possible. She had already seen more emotion in me than I wanted. "I'll be your-...acquaintance?"

I had no idea what that word meant. "Look Seattle, I don't have time for your cryptic words. Spit it out. Preferably in modern English this time." I messed up her name on purpose. When I was mad I tended to do that. A lot of people really seemed to hate it but I found it hilarious. I held the doorknob and shifted most of my weight onto one leg impatiently. She sighed and walked up to me.

"Friend. I'll be your friend." I looked at her confused but decided it was better not to question it.

"Ok, good." I opened the door for her "Women...I swear." I decided to keep this comment in my head for once.

She walked in, eyeing me suspiciously. "And my name is Sienna- not Seattle, Seattle is a place." I ignored her and sat on the couch. I patted the spot next to me, gesturing for her to sit there. She hesitated but eventually sat next to me. I stared at her and she pretended not to notice. It was cute when she did that. She thought she was so slick but I saw right through her. Eventually, she sighed, not being able to ignore my silent watching any longer.

"Yes, stalker?" She looked at me. I couldn't tell if she was insulting me or messing with me. But I went with the first option considering how opposed she was to being my friend less than an hour ago.

"I wanna play a game." I don't know why I said that. I hadn't wanted to play anything at all but it was nicer than half the other things my brain could've made me spit out.

"I don't have a choice do I." She looked down at her hands.

"Nope." I said jokingly and smiled. But I'm pretty sure if I read her expression correctly- and I probably didn't-, that she didn't get the joke.

"What game kai.." she seemed more annoyed with me than before and again my mouth spit out the first thing that came to mind.

"Truth or dare." She looked at me like I was a complete idiot but then gave in.

"Fine, but you first. Truth or Dare?" I was very aware she only said yes so I wouldn't hurt her but I didn't care.

"Dare" I smirked involuntarily and the game began.

Hey, hope you enjoyed this chapter! Sorry it's a bit longer than the rest, I had trouble finding a good place to end it. Anyway, please remember to vote ! Thanks :)
