POV: Kai- Flashback -
I muttered a spell so the little girl in front of me would fall asleep. I didn't know Abby Bennet had a daughter after Bonnie... I shook my head. It didn't matter now. I have to do this. The travellers need an innocent to sacrifice and who better than the Bennet's only son. The only male witch who was ever born with magic in the Bennet bloodline. It was perfect. Considering the Bennet's were helping my horrible family to stop me from merging.
I ran out of the house and met up with a group of travellers just outside Mystic Falls. There were three of them. The leader, Amelia, I recognized immediately. She was who I had spoken to before when we were first making the deal. Two men, double her age and size, stood behind her on each side. "You have the sacrifice?" I nodded. "Good." I looked at Gabriel and then handed him over to Amelia.
"So, how are you keeping up your end of the deal? You said you would keep me safe." Amelia snapped her fingers and looked back at the two men. They looked up and stepped forward slowly. I took an involuntary step backwards. They were intimidating.
"I will." When the men stepped closer I realized this was all a ploy. I backed up quickly. "I promise I will keep you safely locked away in hell where you belong. Boys. Get him." They advanced more quickly now. Oh, fuck this. Just my luck, I should've known better than to trust someone. I tried to use magic to snap their neck or at least send them flying in the opposite but direction but again my luck failed me. I had run out of magic. At that point, I just ran away as fast as I could. And somehow by some miracle, I escaped them. And I managed to meet up with jo by morning in the woods just in time for the merge.

POV: Sienna
I ignored the knocking on the door unable to process anything other than this horrible new knowledge. I was still in disbelief at what Kai had done when he stood up and opened the door. "Who the hell are you?" Kai asked irritatedly. An unknown voice responded. It was deep but whoever it was sounded young.
"The sacrifice" I heard him snap Kai's neck and looked back towards the door. In the doorway was a man about the same height as kai but he was skinnier and had a darker skin tone. Like mine but darker. I sniffled and struggled to stop crying. "Sienna?" He walked towards me and I backed away.
"Don't kill us please- he'll kill you, you know. He's stronger than you think." He put his hands up
"I'm not gonna hurt you." He sat on the bed then and smiled softly. "You really don't remember who I am? Big sis." My jaw dropped and I felt like I could pass out. So much has happened in the past hour that it felt unreal.
"You're lying. That's impossible Kai- he said Gabriel was dead!" He nodded.
"That's what we needed him to think. But here I am." I shook my head and gripped the bed for support. Accidentally pressing down on the remote and turning on the tv.
"Wh- where have you been? Why wouldn't you come back? I looked everywhere for you!" Gabriel saw what was on the tv and turned it off quickly but I thought nothing of it.
"Look, Kai gave me up to the travellers. Then when they tried to kill him he ran. When he got there the Gemini coven, with our families' help, threw him into the prison world. Our Grams went home and saw I was missing and knew it was Kai because he left something of his." He took out a ring and I recognized it immediately. He must've replaced it. "So, obviously furious, she called the old Gemini leader and told him to get Gabriel back from the travellers or she would break their alliance. Don't ask how she knew that's where I was Grams is just weird like that." I laughed softly and nodded. It was true, Grams always knew everything. I still have no idea how. "Well, Joshua came and rescued me and they pretty much raised me." I looked at him suspiciously.
"So you were raised by Kai's parents?" He nodded. "And you're fine?"
"Yes, Sienna he's a liar. They aren't abusive." He looked away from me while speaking which made me even more suspicious.
"Why wouldn't Grams go get you and raise you?" I lifted one eyebrow and felt like I was channelling Bonnie.
"I don't know. I never understood that either..." Kai groaned beginning to wake up and panic appeared and disappeared in Gabriel's eyes so quickly that if I would've looked away I would've missed it. But like Kai, he hid it with a smile. This should have been a red flag; but, I was too caught up in how I finally had Gabriel back to notice or care. "Wow, I'm guessing Kai's emotionlessness has rubbed off on you." I looked at him and tilted my head confused. "Eighteen years and I don't get one hug?" I laughed softly and put my arms around him. It felt weird; him being bigger than me. Of course, it made perfect sense. But I had always seen him as weak because he was younger and smaller. Now, however, he was a lot bigger than me. And although he was younger he was definitely stronger.
"I missed you so much." I pulled him in tighter and he sighed.
"Oh, Sienna...I wish I could say the same." Before I had time to react he jabbed a needle into my arm. I backed up and felt dizzy.
"Wh- what did you do to me." His expression completely changed. He no longer looked innocent and happy. He was serious now and almost looked bored.
"You know what I did to you. You're smart Sienna don't play dumb with me." I started backing up towards the door and tripped over Kai's still unconscious body. The fall wasn't that hard but I was already feeling woozy. I laid on the floor unable to think or move much anymore. I heard Gabriel's footsteps coming towards me and fell unconscious just as I caught a glimpse of him looking down at me.
