Hit The Road

POV: Kai

I could not have been more nervous than I was right now; and that says something. I had no idea what I was doing and if I was doing any of it right; but, Sienna seemed to be enjoying it. I had never had anyone willingly make out with me so I tried my best not to show my lack of experience.

After about five minutes of us making out though, I feel like I got the hang of it. I pushed her against the wall gently so it wouldn't hurt her and my hands ran down her back to her ass. This time when I grabbed it she didn't protest. I smirked slightly still making out with her and squeezed it with one hand; I had never done that either. Suddenly, I felt her hand grab my wrist and place my hand around her throat. I was confused and stopped kissing her.

"Why?" I asked still holding her. She giggled.

"You don't have to I just thought you'd be into that." I didn't know people choked each other for pleasure.

"I think I am? But, aren't you scared I'll take advantage and kill you?"She looked down and then back up.

"Honestly Kai, a little. But I want to trust you." I nodded and then choked her slightly and she smirked. I kissed her again but before we could get anywhere I remembered the reason we were even in the cave. I pulled away.

"Shit, Sie!" She put her hands up.

"I didn't do anything you didn't do." I laughed slightly; apparently, she had a funny side.

"No, no not that. We missed the eclipse." I put my face in my hands and picked up the backpack. "Well, tomorrow it is then." I shrugged.

POV: Sienna

"Hey uh-, how do we get out? Cause I'm pretty sure we can't jump that." I pointed from the floor to the hole in the roof.

He pointed to a tunnel opposite of where I was standing. "There's an exit that way, come on." We walked out of the cave and back to the car. He started driving and I looked through his CDs. He had A LOT. He looked at me as I began to look through it. "Be careful, don't mess it up. It's in alphabetical order." I nodded and continued looking until I came across one that didn't look real, he must've made it himself. It was titled "Classic Oldies."

"You like this?" I asked kinda shocked.

"Yea, just cause I'm evil doesn't mean I have no taste."

I smiled a little. You're not evil. I thought but decided not to verbalize the words. "Can I play it?" He shrugged.

"Sure." I took out the Nirvana CD and put in the oldies CD.

"Let's see how much taste you really have." The first song started and I already loved it. It was Johnny B. Goode by Chuck Berry.

"Oh well, this one isn't that old. I was in middle school when it came out." My jaw dropped.

"Middle school! How old are you?" He put the music up a little.

"Forty-three." I was even more shocked now but I tried to contain it. I made out with someone as old as my dad! But...he looks my age. I looked at him and realized it's because he was thrown in here at twenty-two. So, he hasn't aged since then. Well, if Caroline can have a 1,000-year-old dick of a boyfriend then I-...is Kai my boyfriend? I know I have undeniable feelings for him but does he feel the same way? Or, to him was I just some lame girl to make out with... I tried not to think too much about it.

We got back to the house and as the song ended he played the air guitar. "WOOH. YES, I freaking love that song!" He laughed and brushed his fingers through his hair. I laughed too and we both walked inside.

"Can I play the CD in here?" He nodded and went into the kitchen where there was an old radio. But, it was probably brand new for 1994. I handed him the CD and he placed it in the radio. The next song to play was Hit the Road Jack by Ray Charles; one of my favourite songs of all time. Kai started dancing and singing the guys lyrics and pointing at me whenever the girl would sing. At first, I resisted but eventually, I gave in.

We danced and sang the duet all around the kitchen and for once he looked genuinely happy. It made me happier and at the end of the song I pushed him and he jokingly fell on the floor. He drop-kicked me and I fell next to him and we both laughed. We looked at each other and he smiled and stared.

"What?" I asked and he shook his head. "No, tell me." I persisted and he sighed.

You're just really pretty." I smiled.

"I know." I winked playfully. He laughed and kissed me. I kissed back but when he touched me he siphoned. "OW-" I stood up and backed away. Why would he... he stood up quickly too.

"I- I didn't mean to do that-" he put his hands up slightly but I didn't believe him.

"Sure you didn't." I narrowed my eyes. "Whatever Kai. I'm going to shower." I started walking away and he grabbed my wrist.

"Sienna, please. I can't control it- I was never taught how to remember?" What he said made sense but I didn't want it to. I pulled my wrist away.

"I just need a second okay!" I screamed at him by mistake and he rolled his eyes while shaking his head. This didn't change my feelings for him. I was just shocked and for some reason, the siphoning really angered me. I could tell he was frustrated and realized he is an extremist. Whatever I was feeling he probably took and multiplied it times ten to the point where he thought I hated him. "I-" I sighed. I needed to calm him down so this didn't become a bigger deal than it needed to be. "I'm not mad I just- it hurt and I need to be alone for a second. I'll be right back." I kissed his cheek and his face softened but he was clearly still in a bad mood. "Okay?" I placed my hand on his cheek. He nodded.

"Yea, yea go.." I left to shower and he laid down on the couch. I came out and got dressed in plaid pyjama pants and a big grey t-shirt. Obviously one of his. I smelled it and it smelled like his man cologne. I smiled and walked out of the bathroom to see Kai wasn't on the couch.

"Kai?" I looked around the house and even in the dreadful cellar but I couldn't find him anywhere. "He's gone..."
