POV: SiennaI woke up with Bonnie somehow on the other side of the room and Gabriel still cuddled up close to me. I sat up and stretched. The room was slightly warmer than it had been at night because now sunlight was shining in through the window. I never thought a window would mean so much to me and yes, I had tried to break out through it. Gabriel had a boundary spell up though so you could only get in, not out. I wonder why he had been listening to Katherine's every word. He wasn't a vampire so his humanity couldn't be off, but he isn't human so he can't be compelled. I thought about this for a long time until my sister groaned from across the room.
"Good morning." she yawned and stretched.
"Good m- Bonnie !" I shouted and gasped pretending to be shocked.
"What?" She immediately froze.
"There's a spider on your shirt!" I lied and she shrieked.
"Ew! No! Get it off, get it off !!" She shook her arms and brushed her hands down her shirt. She stood up and began running from where the spider would've fallen and pressed her back against the wall on the other side of the room. Gabriel jumped up then as if he hadn't been asleep.
"What happened?! Woah everything is spinning." He held his head trying to recenter himself.
"Sienna said there's a spider!" He panicked now and ran next to Bonnie.
"No! Where?!" He clung to her arm.
"I don't know but if it comes for us I'm feeding you to it!" She pulled her arm away irritated. My sister was much less forgiving than I was. You betrayed her once and maybe she'll forgive you after a while. But twice and you're out of her life. "Sienna what are you doing still sitting there! It could be crawling towards you right now." She cringed and made a disgusted face at the thought as she tensed up. I couldn't contain my laughter any longer. I burst out cackling like an ugly evil witch. "It's not funny!" She exclaimed.
"Bon- there's no spider." I fell on my back and held my stomach laughing so hard that my eyes were tearing. Gabriel's muscles released their tension and he went up to me and slapped me across the face. It hurt but not enough to stop my laughter.
"Seriously! It's eight A.M! Have you no soul?" He grabbed my shoulders and shook me as tears of laughter streamed down my face. I took deep breaths trying to control myself now. He let me go and Bonnie sat against the wall shaking her head.
"Was that really necessary?" She asked eyeing me irritatedly.
"Yes." I nodded jokingly and she hugged her knees and put her head against them.
POV: Kai
Damon and I were halfway to the warehouse when I realized I still didn't have a puppy. And if anything I had heard about Katherine was true, she would take notice of this missing detail and use it to her advantage. "Damon." He looked toward me quickly and then back at the road.
"What?"
"We need to get a puppy." I laughed softly at the stupidity of that sentence in a moment like this. Damon sighed.
"No." He shook his head refusing.
"Damon- I promised her a puppy. And as cute as you are," I pinched his cheek and he pushed my hand away. "you won't cut it. Besides you're gonna have to pretend you're Stefan."
"I know, we talked about this already." I rolled my eyes and opened my mouth to speak but before I could he cut me off. "You need to put the illusion already, we're almost there." I nodded and chanted a small short spell. Within about half a minute he transformed to look just like Stefan.
