I wasn't sure how it happened, but I was currently sat in the back seat of Jungkook's Mercedes that I learned was named "Mimi."

I was going to drive myself, but Jungkook and Hoseok insisted that we carpool together to save gas and the environment.

Hoseok was sat in the passenger seat while Jungkook drove us to this fancy hot pot place. The interior of his car was even more beautiful than the exterior. It had that signature new leather car smell and appeared almost brand new with not a spot of trash. Well... I definitely felt like the piece of trash in his luxurious car.

"Guys, are you sure it's okay I tag along? I don't want to intrude," I asked unsure.

"200%," Hoseok assured me turning around in his seat.

"I don't know, I think this place might be a little too fancy for me..."

"I can pay for you, Y/N! That's not a problem," Jungkook smiled at me through the rear view mirror.

I feigned a shocked look. "Are you calling me poor?!"

Jungkook's smile dropped and he visibly paled. "What! No! I would never— I didn't mean it like that! I just—"

I couldn't hold back the giggle that escaped my lips that eventually turned into an actual laugh. Looking up, Jungkook and Hoseok appeared as confused as ever, switching their gazes between me and themselves.

"I'm just messing with you, Jungkook," I managed to say in between fits of laughter. "You should've seen your face..."

"Huh??" Jungkook asked frantically. "I thought—"

"I know, you thought I was poor," I said, only making him turn whiter than mochi.

"Not at all—" He was about to explain himself further when I placed a hand on his shoulder.

"I'm just kidding, Jungkook. I know what you meant, and I should've been more specific anyways. I just meant I'm still in my workout clothes when we're going to a higher end restaurant," I said, a teasing smirk still lingering on my face. At that, Hoseok giggled, too, and Jungkook smacked his friend's arm.

Jungkook looked at me through the mirror again and sighed a breath of relief. "Shit, Y/N, I got so worried that I said something wrong."

I tossed him a wide grin. "Nope, all good here."

He smirked. "You got me good. You know you better watch out now."

"I'll sleep with both eyes open tonight."

"As for the clothes thing, Hobi and I are also still in our sweaty workout clothes. We can change in the restaurant's bathroom. It's kind of our tradition to go to this spot after our first day of each semester, so if we have a late dance class, that's what we usually do," Jungkook explained with his eyes back on the road.

My jaw dropped. "It's your tradition? And you're still sure it's okay if a random ass newbie comes? I can just get McDonald's part two." Jungkook chuckled at that.

Hoseok turned around again and smiled sweetly at me. "Y/N, you're not some 'random ass newbie.' I promise it's okay. You worry too much. We want you to come!"

"Okayyy," I said in a sing-song tone, finally giving in.

We parked in front of the restaurant and exited the vehicle.

"Thank you, Mimi," Jungkook lovingly said, patting the car's hood.

I made sure to grab my bag with my clothes and shoes and booked it to the bathroom before anyone new could see me in my sweaty, smelly state. When I looked in the mirror, I nearly gagged. My baby hairs stuck to my forehead in odd positions, my face was greasy, and I reeked of sweat and anxiousness.
