"Well, that's a wrap guys," Hoseok clapped after our final practice run through. Jungkook and I high fived and wiped the sweat off our brows. We'd been practicing for five hours and finally felt like our routine was solid and perfected.
We had countless rehearsals the past few weeks at the guys' house, in the neighborhood park, and in the school's dance studio during open rehearsal hours. We were ready and prepared.
"You think we got it?" I smiled up at him from my seated position on the floor, awaiting praise.
Hoseok nodded and I beamed. "I'm proud of us, this is our best piece of choreo yet."
Jungkook squatted behind me and placed his hands on my shoulders giving them a slight squeeze. "I'm excited to show everyone our piece."
I agreed, slightly leaning back into him. "I can't believe it's already tomorrow."
Hobi clapped again. "Okay! Let's eat some dinner and get some rest for tomorrow. I don't want us to be too burnt out."
The way we talked and acted regarding this performance made it seem like we were auditioning for America's Got Talent or something and it was so funny to me how seriously we all took it.
"Finally we're talking! Where we eating?" Jungkook bounced up and offered me a hand.
"Burgers?" Hobi grinned.

In communications class the next day, Namjoon was giving his final persuasive speech with a partner in front of the class and, of course, they did their job and persuaded. Namjoon always had such a way with words that left people so attentive and wanting more.
Seokjin and I were partners and our speech was about the need for longer school breaks. I provided the details and facts while Jin provided the comedic relief and won the crowd over. The professor smiled once our speech ended and I couldn't tell whether it was because he enjoyed it or if he was happy it was over. I fist bumped Seokjin, nonetheless.
"You guys are gonna come watch Hobi, JK, and I dance later today, right?" I asked Joon and Seokjin as we walked to the cafe to grab our routine post-comms snack.
"Of course," Seokjin said, ruffling my hair.
"Wouldn't miss it," Namjoon smiled. "I need to see for myself if Miss Clumsy lives up to her name or if she actually has some balance." He smirked.
I let out a loud laugh and lightly nudged him. I couldn't believe he remembered the nickname he gave me the first day we met when I quite literally fell into his arms.
Jimin, Taehyung, and Yoongi were all sitting at a large table in the corner of the cafe sipping on some coffee. Their three sets of eyes lit up when they saw us enter and I waved excitedly with both hands at them.
"Hi, friends," I cheerfully greeted the seated boys.
"Hey, Y/N," Yoongi smiled, pulling out the chair beside him which I accepted.
Namjoon and Jin turned to go order what they wanted but Jimin stopped them saying they already went ahead and ordered our normal orders for all of us and had them ready on the table.
"You guys are real ones," Namjoon sighed contently, grabbing his bitter iced coffee off the table.
We talked about how the semester was almost at an end with only a few days left and how crazy time flew by. I asked them if they planned to come to my performance and Jimin gave me attitude because I had the nerve to ask and not know by now that they'd always be there.

Jungkook, Hobi, and I met up an hour before the performance to do last minute practice and cleaning. We had changed into our outfits which consisted of a white and red color scheme. I wore white baggy pants that cuffed at the ankle and a super cropped red hoodie with a sports bra underneath. Jungkook and Hobi both wore white inside shirts with bright red baggy pants and red jackets.
