*Yoongi POV*
"Hope that helped you figure some things out," I said to Y/N and then slightly cringed afterwards—that sounded smoother in my head.
I walked away without turning back. If I looked back, I knew I would've grabbed her again and finish what I started.
I was this close to finally giving into what I'd been resisting for months... but of course, the universe just didn't want that to fucking happen. It was probably for the best, anyways, given our clouded minds.
I silently trudged past Jimin who was skipping way too happily for my liking to the front door.
"Hyung?" I heard Jimin call out.
I didn't feel like responding or acknowledging, so I continued to walk my broody self up the stairs to my room.
I heard Jimin make conflicted sounds before a sneaker squeak was heard on our marble floors and his footsteps became louder and clearer behind me. He didn't say anything until we reached my destination and he let himself inside without my permission.
"What are you doing in my room?" I asked accusingly.
"What are you doing sulking around the house?" Jimin shot back.
"None of your business." I was really not in the mood to have to explain myself, nor did I want to go through Jimin's inevitable teasing.
"Yes, it is. I want you to help you," Jimin urged with puppy-dog eyes.
I cringed. "That only works with Jungkook-ah."
Jimin huffed and crossed his arms. "My puppy-dog eyes are just as cute."
"But, you're not the maknae," I rolled my eyes.
Jimin bolted up with a smirk. "Ah! But you admit I'm cute!"
"Jimin," I said in a warning tone.
"Okay, sorry, sorry," he apologized with a twinkle in his eyes. "For real though, what's wrong?"
"I'm just conflicted."
"Regarding...?"
I sighed. He was here, might as well use him and try to talk it out. "Y/N. I can't control myself anymore. I want her, that's clear to me now. I—don't give me that look."
Jimin instantly dropped his face and the knowing smile he was beginning to form vanished.
"I just... I don't know how she feels about me," I breathed.
Jimin let the smirk back onto his face and I resisted the urge to roll my eyes. "So you finally admit you're into Y/N. Took you look enough, hyung."
I took a seat at my desk while Jimin leaned against a wall with his arms crossed satisfied.
"Why are you so smug, blondie? You knew it from the start, anyways."
Jimin consciously ran a hand through his locks. "Sure, my psychic powers were on point. But we needed you to accept it. Admitting it out loud is the first step. Now, we can move forward!"
"Move forward how? I don't even know if she likes me back," I frowned.
"Why would you doubt it?"
I spun around in my chair and let my head fall back. "Namjoon told me he likes her."
"Ahh, so my hunch about him was right, too!" Jimin cheered then saw my flat expression. "Sorry... but, why is that a problem? That doesn't mean she likes him."
"Well, Namjoon also told her that Mari and I like each other." My jaw clenched just thinking about it.
"He what?? Why would he say that?" Jimin asked, just as confused as me.
