Finally my speech presentation and performance day rolled around and I was ready to get them over with. I finished my speech and had fully memorized it. Yoongi continued to help out during rehearsals, and there was definitely a different air around us whenever we would steal glances or speak to each other, but nothing came out of it.

Jungkook, annoying as he is, would constantly give me a teasing look whenever Yoongi would speak to me and I'd have to shoot a discreet glare back. He didn't even ask me if I had a crush on Yoongi—he just knew.

Despite having a few road bumps and dancer block, we were finally able to successfully complete and learn the routine. I had to say, it was one of the best pieces of choreography I had ever helped to create.

Our dress uniform, we decided, was black and white baggy clothing and bucket hats which I had packed into a bag for later. Dressing for my speech presentation first, I put on a nice blouse and slacks and headed to my car (which I had gotten fixed, thankfully).

"Hey, friends," I smiled, taking my usual seat.

"Hey, woman," Jin said.

"Hi, Y/N. You look nice," Joon chimed.

He, thankfully, hadn't brought up the awkward moment in his room when I interrupted whatever it was he was about to say. I think he got the hint that I definitely didn't want to talk about it. Namjoon continued to remain friendly, though, and I appreciated it.

I gave them both smiles.
"Thank you. You ready for the speech?" I gathered up my papers and tapped them on my desk to align the stack.

"Yes, ma'am," Namjoon responded confidently.

"As expected," I giggled. "Jin?"

"Eh. If I need to, I can always wing it," he winked.

One by one, each of us went up to give our informative speeches. Namjoon's was flawless as predicted and received a handful of questions from students about Mars at the end. I stuttered a bit but mostly did well, and thankfully, no one asked me any questions. Lastly, Jin went and finished confidently, throwing in a few dad jokes to win the class and Professor over. Overall, a successful presentation day!

"We did it!" I cheered as we walked out of the classroom. "You know what we need?"

"A fucking break?" Jin answered.

"Nope! We need a celebratory muffin of your choice from the coffee shop. On me!" I said proudly.

"I'm not gonna say no to free food," Jin laughed. "I'll take you up on that offer, thank you."

"No, Y/N," Namjoon pouted. "I'll pay."

I huffed. "I'm not gonna play this game, Namjoon. Either I pay for your muffin or you're not getting oneeee." I said in a sing-song tone and walked off, holding my debit card in the air above my head.

Jin looked to a stunned Namjoon with a shocked, yet impressed face.

"You heard the girl!" Jin laughed and quickly followed after me.

"Okay, fine! I'll take a muffin! Wait up!" Namjoon hurriedly shouted and jogged over.

We finally made it to the cafe and once I opened the doors, I was instantly met with a whiff of baked goods and coffee beans. Heaven.
