Chapter 15 -Meet short cloak and tall cloak!

I rushed through the bakery, to the back door, sweet scents, floated by.

A very surprised baker yelped.     

Then, I pushed open the back door, and ran out, 

C'mon.

I can't get caught!

The back door led into an alley way, which had a high wooden fence blocking their escape. 

My eyes flicked around wildly, looking for another way out, well! Only one thing to do. 

Then I saw two mysterious figures running on the roof parallel to them. But before I could think much about it, they arrived at the fence, which I kicked with all my strength. 

The fence splintered to pieces, leaving a wide hole into the once filled space. 

They're gaining on us! My captain obvious yelled at me over the sound of their feet and panting. 

My eyes desperately searched around, when again, I spotted the cloaked figures. 

The smaller of the two, was up ahead, and as I watched, a ladder descended, leading towards the roof tops. Perfect! I made my way toward the ladder.

I quickly climbed up. 

"Hiyah, unknown thief from earlier, follow us, if you don't wanna die!" Said the shorter hooded figure cheerfully, while the other stayed silent. 

I quickly decided to follow these hooded figures, as I pulled up the ladder so my pursuers, couldn't follow. 

"Hurry up!" The short figure yelled. Already speeding on the rooftops up ahead. 

Half an hour of running later...

They'd left the outskirts of the city a while ago, and were now, in a forest covered in green. Everyone in the group was now panting from the long chase.

"over hear!" I heard short cloak yell.

"I can't believe we're doing this" tall cloak grumbled through pants.

"secret hideouts, have the word 'secret' in them for a reason!" Tall cloak continued. 

I rolled my eyes, apparently they'd decided to trust her, and it was a horrible decision really.

 That's when the group made it to... 

The middle of nowhere. Yay. Great accomplishment.
