Ivy suddenly appeared at a doorway. Even in the early hours of the morning, Ivy still had a deep scowl.

"Charlie! Have you been experimenting again?! What did we say about working on your projects in the early hours of the morning?!" She said glaring, at a guilty looking Charlie.

"Not to" Charlie sighed.

"Correct, and what did you just do?" Ivy asked narrowing her eyes.

"I worked on my project" Charlie answered dejected.

Ivy seemed like she was about to say something else, when suddenly something small and furry scurried across the floor.

Ivy gasped, "a rat!" She bellowed in what seemed like anger and annoyance, before grabbing a nearby broom.

Charlie's eyes widened, and I raised a skeptical eyebrow.

Ivy had begun to chase the rodent with the broom with the intentions to smash it, while Charlie ran after her, it appeared the younger girl was trying to save the animal, as she yelled

"Iv! Wait! Leave Gouda alone!"

A few seconds later, the rat had jumped onto Charlie, and now, the brown fluffy ball of fur sat on her shoulder looking terrified, while clutching Charlie's hair.

"You kept the rodent?! After I told you to not keep it as a pet?! I told you it's dangerous!" Ivy glared annoyed.

That girl sure glared a lot, I thought.

"It's not dangerous! He's harmless!" Charlie protested.

"He's the plague! The plague isn't harmless!" Ivy raved.

"I'm sure Gouda doesn't have the plague" Charlie said trying to convince Ivy not to throw him off their tree house or do something like that.

"Ha! Right! And Goddess Felicity is emotionless" Ivy said snorting.

"Fine, then you leave me no choice" Charlie said very seriously.

"OH MY GREAT SEA GODDESS MARIAN! WHAT IS THAT!?! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!" Charlie yelled loudly pointing behind them.

None of us turned, not falling for the obvious trick.

That is to say, none of them turned, except for Arthur who just walked in, he turned his head in fear towards the direction Charlie pointed.

Not seeing anything he turned back "I don't see anyth—" he began before getting cut off by Ivy's glare and my other raised eyebrow.

Taking the opportunity of the others not looking she set Gouda down and frantically whispered, "Hide!" The small creature quickly left to hide as everyone turned back to face her.

"Where did the pest GO?!" Ivy growled seeing Charlie's rat gone.

"Ummm... I don't know?" Charlie answered with a sheepish grin.

"So what's going on?" Arthur asked cheerfully.

"Someone thought it was a good idea to bring the plague here" Ivy answered still scanning the area for Gouda.

"Umm, Ivy you should calm down right now, stress isn't good for you" Arthur said.

 Ivy slowly turned towards him.

"CaN't YoU SEe i'M aLReADy cAlM RiGhT NoW!!! " she yelled waving her arms threateningly around"

"Ookay, sorry I didn't see that earlier, I can see you're perfectly calm and collected" he said backing away making peace signs with his hands, trying to get out of her glare range.

"He's doesn't have the plague, and he has a name you know" Charlie huffed.

"What happened to you?" I muttered to Ivy.

"the morning is evil" She hissed suddenly, before turning away and walking slowly towards the table, dragging her feet, before picking up a bowl of fruit, taking a fork, she stabbed her melon, and then jabbed it in her mouth.
